This was a classic matchup that went down to the wire. Both defense protected their house well in the 1st quarter. It wasn't until safety Mark Barron intercepted a Matt Ryan pass deep in their own territory before the Atlanta D gave up a rushing TD to HB Andrew Niles early in the 2nd quarter (7-0). The Falcons would answer with a FG followed by a Brian Hartline 11yd TD catch in the 3rd (7-10). The game would then be tied after a Connor Barth 22yd FG (10-10). Both teams exchanged TD's in the 4th quarter, but the Falcons scored with just 45 secs left in the game on a 6yd TD pass to TE Eddie Wallace (17-17). QB Josh Freeman then led his team down the field to setup the game winning FG with 0:03 on the clock! This game certainly could've went either way. The numbers for both teams were identical with the edge going to Tampa in the turnover ratio (+2).
