    Buckeye Schedule Openings

    OK -

The way I see it, I need a game or two. Here's what I see as potential match-ups:

UCLA for the USC game in Week 2. (Though I hate bumping USC)

Texas/Pitt/Colorado - I'd fit these games in wherever I could, but it looks like weeks 1, 2, & 3 are all I have. There may be a week before the 9/5 weekend, but I don't know. I'll consider all offers, so hit me up.

    September 5 - Army (shaun)
    September 12 - USC
    September 19 - Toledo
    September 26 - Illinois
    October 6 - Indiana
    October 10 - Wisconsin
    October 17 - Purdue
    October 24- Minnesota
    October 31 - Open
    November 7 - Penn State
    November 14 - Iowa
    November 21 - Michigan (Blitz)
    Nov 28/Dec 5 - Notre Dame (DatNDaz)

I'll put that one down in the place of your Eastern Michigan game in week 1. Let me know if there are any other games you might want to replace. Being an independent, you can play pretty much anyone at any time.

That's a good one. I'll look into it. We need to find ways to get games for UCLA, so someone needs to throw out a challenge or something.

Oh, and by doormat, you're referring to your team, right? :D

After just signing Dat in the last week of the season, I may not sign any more users this season. I may consider a UCLA replacement for USC, but after knocking NMSU off the schedule to fit in ND, I think I may be set.

I'm still listening, but I may not be too inclined to add another user, unless something changes, that is.

After looking at it, I think we should all post threads like this one. That way, we can look at schedules team by team, and line everything up by week. Then, we can shift certain games into weeks that fit the entire league schedule better, making for the most hype each week.

Where's our game at AG? I brought it up in the thread you had up before this one along similar lines.

I figured a game between me and Dat would ensure new blood in the title game. Now, things could be totally different in '10 - my good fortune so far might not translate to the same thing in the new game. Same goes for Dat. But with us playing each other, the most that could happen is one of us could make it. Plus, I figured the FSU-Miami-UF thing would make for some serious rivalry games, so I didn't feel the need to schedule another. However, many of us are likely to bump heads come bowl time, so that game could happen anyway.

We have time, though. If things shake out a bit differently, we might just find a way to do it.

There's a rumor that I have moved my starting left tackle to wide out...

    Seriously.:)
