The Bucs limped into Heinz Field coming off a 38-7 trouncing by the Falcons a week ago. The Buc's offense was sputtering, led by a league high 11 Ints from QB Mike Glennon in the previous 3 weeks and the defense had not shown much fight either as opponents found plenty of running room and passing lanes. So this Week 4 matchup vs the undefeated Steelers & coach thafuture3886 was expected to be another lopsided affair but to my surprise the game went entirely different.

The Bucs recieved the opening kickoff and marched down the field with some hard running from HB Doug Martin and some well timed passes from QB Mike Glennon. The drive was capped off with a 50-yd FG by K Connor Barth.

For the remainder of the game the Bucs defense held the Steelers offense in-check as the Steelers were only able to compile 158 yds of total offense and 7 points. Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger threw 3 Ints on the day, 2 of which ended up in the hands of Bucs CB Alterraun Verner.

On the other side, the Bucs offense was very effecient. HB Doug Martin only had 50yds on 16 carries but he helped keep the Steelers defense honest and Glennon was able to hit some big plays in the passing game, especially to rookie WR Mike Evans who ended the day with 6 catches for 140yds and 2 TDs.

    Final Score
    20-7

GG future and good luck rest of the year especially against my fellow NFC South members... :)
