Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson has shocked the NFL world with a new hiring today. The longtime owner of the organization since 1960 has named Jason Bluebean as the new GM and head coach of the Buffalo Bills. After 3 consecutive 7-9 seasons, the city was ready for a drastic change and they got it.

Bluebean says that he will bring alot of knowledge on both offense and defense as well as smart gameplanning in close games that will turn the Bills into a winning organization. Bluebean says that he expects the Bills to earn a playoff spot this year and to make some noise in the AFC.

Coach Bluebean has delivered as promised in Weeks 1 and 2 with a 38-35 win over the Patriots as well as a 67-16 thrashing of the Buccaneers. The road to the playoffs has just gotten much harder as the Bucs defense has broken QB Trent Edwards' collarbone and he is out until Week 14. Coach Bluebean has named QB Jeff Garcia as the starting QB for the season and is bringing some guys in for tryouts this week.

The Buffalo Bills go into their bye week at the halfway point of the season with a stunning 7-1 record. Coach Bluebean has given his team a much deserved vacation since they don't play again until Week 10. This team will continue to play hard and pile up as many wins as possible before they end the season with the Pats, Colts, and Falcons. Coach Bluebean will go to the drawing board to determine how to work the QB situation since Garcia and Frerotte has nearly cost this team some games with their horrible inaccuracy. Trent Edwards is expected back in 3-5 weeks.

Buffalo is trying to keep the pressure on the Patriots who are only 1 game back in the AFC East.

The Buffalo Bills have gotten over the 3-peat of 7-9 seasons and started off the year 8-3 and in a first place tie with the New England Patriots. The Bills need to do their best to beat the Jets and Chiefs in the next couple weeks to improve to 10-3 since the Pats, Falcons, and Colts are waiting in the final 3 weeks.
