After jumping another spot in the polls, the #3 Miss St. Bulldogs continued their winning ways by beating Alabama 38-35. The game started off with a Bama score on their first drive but Miss St. drove back and that was the last time they trailed for the rest of the game as the bulldogs pull of a close one. The game was filled with turonovers. Right when Miss St. thought they had the game in control dirving at the end of the half trying to go up 10, they through a pick 6. Next drive though Miss St. hooks up on a 72 Yard pass. This was followed by a pick 6 the other way to give Miss St. that 10 point halftime lead.

The 2nd half started with another Bulldog score. With a 17 point lead the Bullodgs had a few long drives, but nothing socring any more points. Bama actually made the game close by scoring 2 fourth quarter TDs. But when Miss St. got the ball back they never gave it back.

Fresh QB Russel played well with 318 yards and 2 TDs. He did have a pick, but agaisnt that D it was a solid job. The running game was not awesome, considering the starter went out, but they got the first downs they needed during important times.

Miss St. has a chance to clinch the SEC west by beating Arkansas next week.
