    Cal Bears Report

After starting off the season 3-3, the Bears new they had to adjust with a new coaching staff. Firing all but 2 men from their staff, the eyed down two Coaches. Former Washington Head Coach Coach Sweet and Former Rickshaw High Coach Haywood JaBlowMe. Coach Sweet accepted the deal and heproved to work well under CAL's team.

    Cal wins 59-32.

    The Standouts
Junior QB Kevin Riley went 21 for 31, 383 yards, 5 touchdowns, and one INT.
The real man is the POTG. The 4.44 speed WR named Verran Tucker (Oh yes, I like him, I like him very much. Almost as much as Kendra Wilkinson) who caught 7 passes for 203 yards with 1 touchdown. He also was the star in the return game, where he had a 89 yard touchdown up the middle. Mr. Sunshine again had 1 rush for 29 yards too! The defensive star was cornerback Darian Hagan who had 8 tackles and 1 for loss.

Cal shows Oregon State who's boss in 48-33 beatdown!

The passing and running attack was absolutely dominate for CAL, so was their 3rd and 4th down defense. The offense totaled for a whopping 621 yards on offense. Captain Kevin Riley (QB) threw 36 passes and completed 31 of them for 447 yards with a touchdown and one interception. Cal's sophmore runningback Shane Vereen had an explosion on offense where he ran 29 times for 100 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Bears defense held OSU to 0 out of 4 4th down conversions and 2 out of 9 3rd down conversions. Mr. Sunshine (Verran Tucker) had a huge game also, catching 11 balls for 247 yards and 0 touchdowns.

Yeah, when I got CAL he was out for 6 weeks... Hopefully he opts to stay his senior year. Vereen is a monster though, fantastic in the redzone.

    Cal beatsdown Arizona 34-21.

In what seemed like a close game, it was favored all towards CAL. QB Kevin Riley threw 35 times and completed 23 of his passes for 381 yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. He threw 8 passes 50+ yards and 6 were caught.
Soph Running Back Shane Vereen was a little less spectacular today. Running 24 times for a whopping 95 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Verran Tucker and Nyan Boateng both had 6 receptions for over 100 yards and one touchdown.
Middle Line Backer Mike Mohamed is on fire yet again with 11 tackles and 1 interception.

    Go Bears Go!

CAL BLOWSOUT WSU, STARTS SEASON 4-0

The CAL Bears showed up to play Saturday, combining for 723 yards in total. Senior QB Kevin Riley passed 14 out of 15 times for 387 yards and 4 TD's, no INT's. This puts Riley second in passing yards in the nation with over 1200 and throwing 11 TD's with only 1 INT. Star RB Shane Vereen had 46 carries for 202 yards and 4 touchdowns. The big man who impressed everyone, was Soph. TE Ladner. He caught 6 balls, 204 yards, and 3 touchdowns. The Bear defense played another outstanding game only allowing 130 yards in total.

    CAL "UPSETS" #4 USC 45-23

The Bears started off with the ball, driving all the way down to the 22, where Vereen fumbled on the 4th down attempt. USC was able to come away with 3 points on their drive because the Bears monsterous defense was just not allowing a score. USC didn't put points onto the board again untill the 3rd quarter. You would think the running game is where this game would be, WRONG! Cal passed for 347 yards and 5 TD's while USC passed for 326 and 1 TD. Senior QB Kevin Riley looked to be the best QB in the nation, completing 86% of his passes. Vereen was able to get over 120 yards, but no TD's. Jahvid Best who was moved to #2 in the depth chart and only had 32 yards rushing but one touchdown. the Bears defense was where it was at though, getting 3 sacks and 1 int. The Bears had 11 TFL in this game and shutting CJ Gable down to only 38 yards rushing. The Bears look to be #1 and are looking to threaten #1 Texas's NC hopes, but Oregon and Washington can stand in the way for Cal.

Cal seals the Rose Bowl deal and wins the Pac 10 after a shoot-out in Berkley. Beating Arizona 56-35.

Senior Kevin Riley had a career day, passing 35 times and completing 30 passes for 498 yards and 5 touchdowns, with 1 INT. Shane Vereen had a less than steller day, although he awas taken out of the game in the 3rd quarter. He rushed 16 times for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jahvid Best rushed 12 times for 76 yards and 1 touchdown. The Future Mackey winner, The "Big Man On Campus" Spencer Ladner had an outstanding day. Catching 14 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns. The defense was led by Strong Safety #7 (Can't remember name), he had 11 tackles, 1 for loss, a forced fubmle, and an Interception. 3 of Cal's Defensive backs had INT's, there was 2 sacks on the day today. One by Guyton (LDE), and Smith (DT). Cal is just hoping either Geogria Tech or Nevada looses to get in the NC game. They are hoping Ohio State wins so they are either playing them in the Rose Bowl, or possible NC.

CAL WINS BIG, WINS RIVALRY 63-24!

Thanks to the great play of the whole Bears team, they win and clinch the Pac-10 title.
The game ball goes to Kevin Riley overall. He had 5 touchdowns (4 passing 1 rushing). He passed again for over 400 yards (442). He also threw two interceptions. Big man Shane Vereen broke the California Bears' single season rushing touchdown record with 3 big touchdown's today. Best got to start however, in his final game, rushing 21 times for 103 yards, but no touchdowns. Spencer Ladner, Heisman 2011! He had half of Riley's Touchdowns and yards.
Defensive stars were DE Cameron Jordan who had 6 tackles, 4 for loss, and 1 sack. The other was DS Sean Cattouse, with 6 tackles.

P.S. I dont recruit anymore, I am maxed out.
