    CAP MONSTERS of 2015

In this segment we will take a look at every team's highest paid player on the books for 2015
-Are they worth this much money?
-Is it the team's best player or not?
-Is this player a candidate to be released?

(the money is cap hit during next season -2015)

Bears- 7.67 Matt Forte- A very low cap number, it's pretty shocking that the Bears don't have someone more expensive on the books

Bengals- 13.75 Peyton Manning- Will he retire?

Bills- 16.48 Mario Williams- Mario playing out his heft contract but I don't see him leaving Buffalo

Broncos- 11.99 E. Dumervil- This is a reasonable number for a player that can get pressure on the QB with such efficiency

Browns- 16.24 Jake Long- This amount is too high and obviously some bonehead GM over paid in free agency

Bucs- 12.29 Vincent Jackson- This number feels about right, I did notice a few other Buc players with high cap numbers as well

Cardinals- 12.72 C. Campbell- This name just doesn't have the "buzz" that Jason Merian has

Chargers- 24.14 Phillip Rivers- This is the highest number I've come across (actually Big Ben slightly higher) verdict: too much money

Chiefs- 14.17 Dwayne Bowe- Bowe is solid, but Jamal Charles is worth more money

Colts- 9.23 R. Mathis- For a LB cap number, this is extremely high...Patrick Willis makes the same amount

Cowboys- 18.37 DeMarcus Ware- He is a stud and worthy of any cap number IMO

Dolphins- 10.38 A. Dalton- I'm surprised that he is the highest paid player, but I guess I shouldn't be since he is a QB

Eagles- 11.88 N. Asomugha- This player was on the trade block last year, I'm not sure this CB is an Eagle come 2015

Falcons- 12.27 Michael Turner- Turner the Burner...has flamed out and should be cut

49ers- 9.39 Patrick Willis- The best LB in the game deserves twice this amount

Giants- 23.04 Eli Manning- It's high but what can you do he is their QB and that isn't changing...is it?

Jaguars- 13.74 MJ Drew- Is this aging back sitll worth the price tag? Probably

Jets- 11.91 Santonio Holmes- This number is in the ball park of Larry Fitzgerald...which it shouldn't be...verdict=overpaid

Lions- 17.58 Calvin Johnson- Megatron makes mega bucks...but he is worth every penny

Packers- 16.78 Aaron Rodgers- There is no discount and you can double check this price

Panthers- 13.40 Charles Johnson- He is living out the hefty contract the Panthers were forced to pay

Patriots- 13.06 M Jenkins- This cap number is too high for the player, but he can produce

Raiders- 8.97 Cameron Wake- A very low "high" cap number for the Raiders

Rams- 15.73 Sam Bradford- A typical early draft pick QB cap #

Ravens- 15.06 Haloti Ngata- Is this a per pound price?

Redskins- 11.73 T. Williams- How long until this spot is permanently reserved for RGIII?

Saints- 9.39 J. Evans- Thats good money to protect a QB not named Drew Brees

Seahawks- 9.72 Mark Sanchez- No comment and by no comment I mean I just threw up in my mouth

Steelers- 24.96 Big Ben- This number is very high, Pitt will have to be creative with cap space

Texans- 13.35 Andre Johnson- This player is solid, and his salary is worthy

Titans- 11.40 Chris Johnson- The fastest player is the highest paid player...fair enough

Vikings- 14.10 Adrian Peterson- He is the Vikings and the price tag is worthy for this playmaker

Teams paying ONE player more then 20 million in 2015:

    Chargers- Phillip Rivers

    Giants- Eli Manning
    [IMG]
    Steelers- Big Ben

Most overpaid players on the list:

    Falcons- Michael Turner
    [IMG]

    Jets- Santonio Holmes

    Best Value Players:

    Bears- Matt Forte

    49ers- Patrick Willis

Michael Overman This is awesome. I'm definitely not thrilled to be paying almost 12 M for Holmes, but I have such a need for WR that I don't think I could deal him away.

There are always going to be some players on this list that don't make it...In this case only 2 players on the above list are NO LONGER WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE TEAMS...and get this...they are related.
