St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is sacked by Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington during NFL action at University of Phoenix Stadium. Rams 17 Cardinals 24 TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona once again step up to the challenge a won another important divisional match up. This time were the visiting St. Louis Rams who tasted defeat at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals. The birds stand 9-5 on the season and at the moment hold the second wildcard spot in the NFC. They still have two real tough games ahead, both games are at home but they are tough match ups (Bears and Seahawks). Let's see if their defense keeps playing like they have and they can make the playoffs this season. This game was an ugly game for 2nd year QB McCadden, even tough that he threw 2 TDs and 275 yards he had 3 costly INTs on the day. Those INTs helped the Rams stick around as they turned 2 of them into 14 points thanks to short fields. The difference on this one was they pressure that MLB Washington and company were able to put on Bradford. The Cardinals defense had 4 sack on the day and force Bradford to throw when he was not ready, resulting on overthrows and one INT. HB Marshawn Lynch had another monster game going for 169 yards on 21 carries and 1 TD. He was able to close the game out late in the 4th. The Rams put a great drive together but after a sack they had to settle for a long FG to inch within a score (17-24 Cardinals 3:00 left). They needed a stop if they wanted to have any hopes, but the Cardinals and Lynch were able to keep the chains moving. The Rams never got the ball back for an opportunity to tie the game. The bad news was that Lynch got hurt after he took a shot trying to fight for extra yards and he will be out at least 3 to 4 weeks. Great game and gl this off-season, im sure u will be ready once next season rolls around.
