Fresh off an intense rivalry in Madden 12, these 2 coaches apparently didn't get enough of each other and each took their talents to the NFC West for another year of intense battles. Starting off the season in another hotly contested divisional battle this game was back and forth for most of the game with the Cardinals making just enough plans to get the win and more importantly, start 1-0 in what will be a great division.

The Seahawks would start off with the ball and would put together a nice drive but would only end up with a field goal to take a 3-0 lead. The rest of the quarter involved both teams feeling out each other offensively while both defenses would pick off the opposing quarterback. The Cards would get on the board midway through the 2nd quarter when John Skelton would hook up with Larry Fitzgerald for a 47 yard score to take the lead 7-3. The Cards would add a field goal with under 2 minutes left to expand the lead to 10-3 hoping they didn't leave the Seahawks enough time to put any points on the board. However, the Seahawks had other plans and after a long pass to Sidney Rice put the Seahawks in field goal position, they would kick the field goal just before the half to make it 10-6 heading into the half.

The 2nd half was all defense as both defenses created turnover after turnover. The Cards would get the only points in the 3rd quarter with a field goal from Jay Feely to make it 13-6 heading into the 4th. Midway through the 4th with the Seahawks threatening inside the 5 yard line, the play of the game was made. Sensing the Seahawks would try some sort of quick throw, Coach Curtis would user the single safety and jump the quick hitch to the inside receiver(i think it was Sidney Rice). Luckily, it was the right read as Russell Wilson through it directly where anticipated and Kerry Rhodes would pick off the pass in the at the 1 yard line and outrun chasers 99 yards to the end zone for a momentum changing play and a 20-6 lead. The Cards defense would be able to hold the Seahawks out of the end zone until the Seahawks got a score late to make it 20-13. However, it proved to be too much too late as the Seahawks didn't have much time left and the Cards would recover the onside kick and kneel it out for the win.

    Great game Scikotic!

Player of the game goes to the Cardinals defense which would force Russell Wilson into 4 turnovers(2 picks and 2 fumbles) while forcing 2 others and sacking him 5 times.
