    Seahawks 21 vs Cardinals 27

Arizona – After back to back great tough victories against two of the top teams in the league Rams and Patriots, the Cardinals came into their week 10 match up against their divisional rivals Seattle Seahawks with the mentality of this being another most win affair. It was the game of the week, and it sure lived up to the expectations, as this was a game that the Cards needed to have in order to achieve their goals of making the playoffs this season.

The game plan was to contain the explosive offense of the Hawks and limit their dynamic QB Russell Wilson to an average game. Well mission accomplish as the Cardinals force Wilson into 3 INTs when he only had 4 INT coming into this game. The defense was all over Wilson from the get-go forcing him to make throws sooner than he wanted. “We followed the game plan, which was hit the QB and make him uncomfortable the whole game”. Said DE Johnson...

It all started In the 1st quarter where the Seahawks face a 3rd down an 4 inside their 40 yard line, Wilson try to get the first down up the middle but just as he cross the 1st down line he got pop by SS Bethel who force the fumble and Mr. Mathieu (Player of the game) was there to make the recovery. The fumble set up the 1st score of the game by the Cardinals. QB McCadden found TE McCoy for a 14 yard TD to make the score 7-0 Cardinals at the end of the 1st Quarter. That was the only reception of the game by the TE as McCadden only completed 7 of 12 passes for 83 yards and 1 TD and 2 Ints.

In the 2nd quarter the teams trade INTS deep in their territories and those were turn into scores one by a McCadden on am 18 yard scramble, and the other one a beautiful pass from Wilson to Harvin who ended up with 4 catches and 91 yards to take the game to 14-7 Cardinals at the Half.

In the 3rd quarter the Cardinals could not muster anything on their first position and were force to punt, that’s when the key play of the game happen. Wilson tried to find his WR over the middle and he look open but Mr. Mathieu step in front of the pass for his 1st of 2 INTS in the game, this one he took 47 yards for the score, that score gave the Cardinals a 21-7 lead. It looked like Arizona was going to run away with the game at that point, but this are the Seahawks the defending NFC WEST CHAMPS, they responded with a great drive culminated on a 1 yard run by RB Ware. Score 21-14 Cardinals end of the 3rd quarter.

In the 4th quarter the Seahawks held the Cardinals to two FG but they would only score a TD and Lynch was able to keep the chains moving and the ball away from the Hawks offense. Final Score Cardinals 27 Seahawks 21.

It was a great game, here are some key player stats:

HB Lynch: 25 carries for 171 yards

FS Tyrann Mathieu: 2 INTs 1FR and 1TD

WR Percy Harvin: 4 catches for 91 yards and 1 TD

    LtJustice great game!!!!

The defense for the Cardinals stepped up big on this one. I cant wait for the re-match... im spectating another battle. GL till we see again...

Great game Mike! Lynch played like a man on a mission and would not be stopped. Even when we hit him in the backfield, he turned it into a positive gain. Lynch's grinding along with being forced into too many mistakes on offense was a recipe for disaster. he Seahawks aren't overlooking anyone, but the rematch with the Cards in week 17 just got that much more interesting!
