    49ers 28 vs Cardinals 35

The Cardinals came into their week 2 match up against their divisional rivals San Francisco 49ers riding a 1 game wining streak, and clicking in all offensive cylinders after a great shootout win over the Bears in week 1. One game wining streak does not sound like much, but after only wining 2 games a season ago it meant the world to the young Cardinals squad.

This game was a hard hitting
contest from the start. Fumbles, injuries and takeaways were the keys in this one, as there were only 2 punts the whole game (one by each team). A key play took place with the Cardinals driving up 14-7 late in the 2nd quarter. On 3rd and 6 QB McCadden found WR J Brown on a 10 yard out, but after he tried to gain some extra yards he got leveled by CB R. Marshall who force an recovered the 1st fumble for the 49ers. On the play Brown was injured and he did not comeback into the game. Instead of going up by two scores the Cardinals saw QB Kapernick drive his team down the field and take advantage of the weak Cardinals defense as he found WR AJ Green for the score to tie the game. AJ Green had a monster game catching 7 balls for 166 yards and that score.

Another turning point in this game was with the 49ers 3rd an goal from the 3 yard line and down by 10 QB Kapenick tried to find his TE on a quick out but SS J Bethel stepped in front of the pass to end the 49ers chances to inch closer in this one.

From the point forward the niners were not able to stop the Cardinals offense and the final score was 35-28 Cardinals.

Great Game Bud looking forward to our next match up...
