    Celtics send:
    SF/PF Jeff Green - 82 overall - 27 years old - B+ pot - 3 yr/$26.33M
    SG/PG Avery Bradley - 82 overall - 23 years old - B- pot - 1yr/$2.51M (Restricted - No Option)
    SF Damion James - 72 overall - 26 years old - C pot - 2yr/$13.71M

    Warriors send:
    SF Harrison Barnes - 80 overall - 21 years old - B+ pot - 1yr/$2.92M (Restricted - 2yr Team Option)
    PG/SG CJ Watson - 70 overall - 29 years old - 2 yr/$15.09M
    C Andris Biedrins - 63 overall - 27 years old - B pot - 1yr/$9.00M

Trade benefits Warriors giving them Jeff Green who can play both SF and move to the PF to give David Lee a breather. They also receive a stud combo guard in Avery Bradley who can start right away at SG as an upgrade from Klay Thompson or back up Steph Curry at PG. This gives them great depth in their back court. Damion James gives them a younger backup at SF that will allow them to not have to resign Richard Jefferson.

Trade benefits the Celtics because Barnes is a young SF that can move into the starting role next season if: A) Pierce retires, or B) Unable to resign Pierce at his current salary this offseason. Barnes can also start at SG. Adding Watson gives a true backup at PG, where Jason Terry is currently the backup as more of a true SG. Biedrins adds a viable backup at center where Garnett plays now and we rely on a combo of Sullinger, Bass and Danny Cheeks (rookie) - all of which are true PFs under 7 ft.

Any update on this trade? Last I heard, the vote was split 2-2.

Tyler, this trade has been declined. The TC doesn't really think this deal helps GS enough to warrant them trading their other potential franchise player in Barnes.
