Chaos Week 7 Game of the Week GAME OF THE WEEK In BCS Chaos NCAA Football 11 third installment of Game of The Week presented by Forever 97, the game pits The Florida Gators against TheTennessee Volunteers. Vs Florida comes into this game as highly favored over their counterpart. If Florida is going to be considered for any National spotlight, they will go only as far as their newly starting QB , John Brantley, will take them. In his debut game against Miami of Ohio, he had less than a stellar performance. He completed only 13 of his 40 attempts for a measly 155yds passing. He did find the endzone twice through the air, but also had two ints in the process. RB, Jeffery Demps will have to increase his production in the running and passing game to help take some of the pressure off of his QB. The defense was the strong point for the Gators. They only surrendered 146yds of total offense and forced 8 turnovers in the game. If the Gators are to continue their quest for SEC dominance, they must play better than they have in recent weeks! Brantley has to get the ball to play makers in this offense to be successful this season. Tennessee, with the departure of their first year coach, and many question marks on both sides of the ball, will look to JR QB, Matt Simms to lead the way for the Volunteer offense. Much like Florida, Simms is in his first year as the full time signal caller for Tennessee. His debut was significantly better than Brantleys, but Brantley did face a little better competition than Simms. In their game against Tennesse-Martin, Simms completed 20 of his 39 att. For 301yds and 3 td’s. He also recorded 3 ints. His favorite target in the game was SR TE, Luke Stocker. He made 11 rec. for 174yds and 3tds. Simms will surely look for his sure handed TE early and often in the game. Tennessee’s defense also played strong; allowing only 65yds of total offense to their opponent. Luke Stocker has emerged as the go to guy in Tennesses’s pro style offense The Stage is Set! Will Florida have enough to overcome the home crowd of 100 thousand plus? CAST YOUR VOTE TODAY!!!
