Kansas City came in riding a modest 2 game winning streak. They haven't had a streak like that in over 3 years so naturally the fan base was somewhat excited. Adding to the excitement was the next game on the schedule. The Raiders (I really have no clue where their homebase is). The game started out with the Raiders receiving the kickoff. Nothing going on their first possession so they were forced to punt. On the Chiefs second play from scrimmage Boisture hits Middlebrook for a 78 yard scoring strike and a quick 7-0 lead. The next few series for both teams were defensive battles. The Chiefs finally struck again early in the second as Boisture rolled left and threw a dart across his body to newcomer Brice Butler who went 62 yards for the score and a 14-0 lead. More defensive stoutness by the Chiefs would give the ball back to the offense deep in Raiders territory. Jamal Charles would punch it in from 4 yards out and a commanding 21-0 lead. The Raiders trying to force something before the half turn the ball over again to the Chiefs. This time Boisture would hit Bowe from 26 yards out with 50 seconds left in the half, 28-0.

The second half saw the Chiefs go into prevent defense and coast to victory. A couple garbage time touchdowns by the Raiders made the game closer than it actually was.
