    Imagine this...
Down three scores heading into the fourth quarter, you quickly realize the only way to win this game is to play with perfection. Eventually the final whistle blows and your team is celebrating a comeback victory. In the post game interview, your quarterback is asked how he threw for three touchdowns in seven minutes with not a single incomplete pass to win the game. Of course he credits the defense for making stops, but deep down, he knows he is a nominee for the...

Think your player just had a Performance of the Year?
Post the scenario & stats here and he could win the award at seasons end.

    2014 NOMINEES:
    1. Blake Bell • 19/30 for 450+ Yards & 7 Touchdowns vs. Oklahoma State

    PAST WINNERS:
    Details:
    1) Performance must have been over the course of no more than ONE game.
    2) Must be ONE player, not a team or group of players
    3) Result of the game may be Win or Loss, but performances in a win will be counted more heavily
Example of a true nominee: Quarterback throws for 5 touch downs, no turnovers, 325+ yards in an away game victory in the last game of the season.
Example of a false nominee: Wide Receiver catches 5 passes for 300 yards in win vs un-ranked opponent in a non important game. Sure it was a nice game, but was it really PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR worthy? Not likely.

Thanks Spayer419, I hope to get the hang of how to post with ease on these forums. I look forward to season 2 so we can start filling this thread with some great performances.

BLAKE BELL VS. TCU • WEEK 4 • 32-31 WIN
    [IMG] [IMG]
In a must win game vs. ranked TCU, Junior Quarterback Blake Bell delivered with a great air and ground game. At the risk of starting 0-3 and losing out on two great recruits, Blake Bell showed great resilience to finish the game strong and put the Sooners back on track.

No true surprise here: three quarterbacks and a halfback. I anticipate even more nominees with season's end approaching. Good luck to all to finish out strong.

Murray had a great performance a couple of weeks back, I'll add him to this list.

Definitely a top candidate (y) perfect scenario for a CLPotY award, and he did not shy away from the moment

Original post has been updated to provide a description of each performance and the stats. If you have not yet posted stats and want to, please do so ASAP. Please let me know if there is anything you would like me to add from or take away from the descriptions.

Voting begins Bowl Week and will end before Season 3

I'm voting for this and not my man Frazier's 500 yard 7td game because it was a user game and the stats are impressive

Although there were many strong candidates, I will also have to go with White vs. OSU.

It's unfortunate that it did not eventually put Wisconsin in a rank they deserved, but nonetheless it was a fantastic game which was the highlight of a fantastic season. Well done.

That's now four votes for White
