The Cincinnati Bearcats got their signature win over #2 Rutgers to move to 8-3 on the season and to #1 in the Big East. The Bearcats were able to overcome their first half mistakes separate themselves from the Scarlet Knights. QB Travis Kelce shrugged off a couple first half Ints to finish with 5 passing TDs on the day.
Rutgers' defense kept them in the game for most of the way with both and Int and a fumble returned for TDs. Unfortunately, QB Shimko threw 3 Ints on the day himself with only 1 TD to show for it.
Cincinnati now travels to Miami to put their 6 game win streak on the line.
GG Mo, I couldn't ever pull away in this one. I would get up but you'd answer right back, luckily I got a couple stops near the end. Looking forward to next year.

I almost tossed my controller when I fumbled the kick return and it got returned to the house as time ran out for the half....

But yeah, the 2nd quarter was crazy.

    :D

    Three things...

I wasn't expecting the spread attack. It threw me off for a bit. I adjusted but Cincy adjusted back

I got away from the run game once I got those two TD's in the 2nd quarter. I shoulda re-established the run but I didn't

I got some turnovers 2nd and 3rd quarters but scored NOTHING on them. My kicker can't hit a 40 fucking yarder. (thanks sliders!)

The sliders shouldn't have affected field goal range. If they did, I screwed up. If anything I planned on making our FG range (and the cpu's) better at some point.

Helli just curious--is the kicker you signed this year gonna be your starter as a freshman?

God help you all if you ever let the ringer get any talent.
