One of the best parts of an online dynasty is the recruiting battles off of the field. Their is nothing better than poaching a kid from one of your rivals, then having them wreak havoc on the field for the next 4 years. Each year there will be a thread dedicated to the future lifeblood of our program. Feel free to do seasonal previews highlighting what you are targeting, announce major signings or a big visit weekend, and think of new ideas for yourselves.

The Buckeyes will look to land some speed, especially at the skill positions. While the Buckeyes have young depth at running back and wide receiver, Urban Meyer's up-tempo spread option requires both depth. Meyer is also not sure if freshmen tailbacks Warren Ball or Bri'onte Dunn are capable of being feature backs in an offense that runs primarily out of the shot gun. Signing a speedy tailback is crucial this.

On the offensive line, look for the Buckeyes to target Tackles. The Buckeyes are young and thin at tackle and might lose junior Jack Mewhort to the pro draft. Depth is crucial on a line that switches in-and-out due to the no huddle offense, but the guard and center positions have depth.

The defensive line also has plenty of young depth, bolstered by freshmen studs Adolphos Washington and Noah Spence. There are plenty of top defensive ends interested in the Buckeye's still, and look for Meyer to add more depth to the strongest part of his future defense.

The linebacker corps are an entire different story. Both the inside and outside linebacker position will be heavily recruited by Meyer and his staff.

The secondary could use some depth, but they will likely only lose one starter, cornerback Travis Howard.

As always, look for the Buckeyes to put a fence around Ohio and retain the states top talent.

The motto of the Virginia Tech Hokies this year is "Hard Work+Foucs=Success". There has been a lot of success at VA Tech due to its success in all 3 parts of football and thats offense, defense, and special teams aka "Beamer Ball". This year will be no different with star QB Logan Thomas back under center after an 11-3 season and a trip to the ACC championship game and Sugar Bowl. This year the experience around Thomas will be much different from last year as only one other starter returns. Which means new RB's and new WR's. Redshirt freshman Michael Holmes will get the first crack of replacing David Wilson, who left after his junior year. Also the Hokies must replace 4 new starters on the offense line.

The defense as expected should be one of the top defenses in the ACC and in the country. With 8 returning starters back from the 10th best defense in the country, the Hokies should continue their tradition of playing good defense. Ends James Gayle and J.R. Collins are two pass-rushing terrors on the outside and have depth to go along with them. The linebackers have to play well because there are plenty of run-heavy teams in the ACC so they have to play big. The Hokies in recruiting like to add depth to their d-line while adding a speedy linebacker or two.

    Top Targets
    Albert Perez (DE #2)
    Andrew Brown (OLB #1)
    Shaun Rodgers (WR #6)
    Kevin Lee (FS #1)
    Andy Smith (OLB #3)
    Shawn Harrington (FS #6)
    Brett Blount (DE #5)
    Nathan Brown (DT #4)
    Marcus Smith (WR #13)
    Joe Smith (FS #4)

The Razorbacks would like to beef up the defense by recruiting heavily of the defensive side of the football. At the MLB spot, we are pretty short on it with two seniors and only 1 freshmen. On the offensive side of the football, the Razorbacks are going to set at Qb with senior Tyler Wilson returning. The offensive line has quite a few upper classman, so O-line with be recruited heavily.
    Top Recruits:
    1.James Roberts (T)
    2. Jeff Rollins (ATH)
    3. Tommy Woods (DE)
    4. Justin Thomas (OLB)
    5. Markus Butler (MLB)

This year the Badgers will once again be lead by the O-Line and RBs. Look for the Badgers to target players with speed on the Defensive side of the ball after being exposed by Oregon last year in the Rose Bowl, especially the defensive backfield (see OSU and MSU loses). Also too try to find a WR that can come in and be a play maker as a freshman. Adding some depth to the o-line and RBs. Quarterback will not be targeted this year due to the signing of Bart Houston last season, he will come in to next season as a RS Freshman and more than likely have a tight grip on the starting spot.

    Wisconsin's Top Targets:
    1. Tyler Hardy (ATH #2)
    2. Kevin Stevens (WR #3)
    3. Kevin Lee (FS #1)
    4. Robert Greer (SS #3)
    5. George Moore (MLB #3)

This year the Auburn Tigers will be looking to add depth to several positions. The Tigers are loaded with young O-line Talent and Great Depth at RB.. We will be focusing on LB, DE, DT, and both safety Positions, I'm sure we will pick up several on the offensive side of the ball as well. A few top targets are:

    T.J. McLaurin Signs with Buckeyes

T.J. McLaurin, the #5 running back in the country, became the first member of Ohio State's 2013 recruiting class when he committed to the Buckeyes. Known for his elusiveness and speed, look for McLaurin to play immediately next season. Ohio State has plenty of depth at running back but McLaurin brings something to the table that the rest can't match, speed. Don't be suprised if McLaurin lines up at receiver from time to time. He is a capable at catching the ball and has potential to remind people of the electrifying Percy Harvin during his days at Florida.

    Justin West Signs with Wisc

Justin West, the #46 CB in the 2013 class. The Badgers make good on their word and make West, a 3*, 6 ft CB with speed a athleticism the first signee of the season. West is not expected to make an impact early on in his time in Madison, expect him to redshirt his freshman year.

Georgia lands first recruit of 2012!

Today Marcus Knox, Tackle out of Monroe, LA committed to the Bulldogs! Coach Richt had a few words to say about this signing "We absolutely love this kid! He is a hard worker and an in the trenches type of guy. A 4* recruit out of LA isn't very common so we are thrilled he picked us." Richt joked, "Big things are coming to Athens, literally" He would be correct, Knox is 6' 5'' and 287 lbs. This is a wonderful signing for Georgia and will increase the success of the running game for years to come.

Badgers get there 2nd commit of the year.

4* ATH, the #31 in this years class, Adam Sherman from Fair Plain, MI announce he would be attending UWM next fall. The 6'1" athlete is expected to bring some much needed big play ability to the badgers receiving corp next year says Bielema, he could also serve as an option at FS if needed.

Yeah it's looking good so far but I'll comment when they are signed lol, looks like a bunch of these guys will get some playing time as freshman. Defensively I will have almost all seniors but on offense I will have some youngins playing.

Georgia gets second recruit to commit. Fills void at SS.

This week Michael Jackson from Olympia Heights, FL. No folks this isn't the singer, it is the hard hitting Strong Safety. He will help fill some issues at Safety and we might even move him to FS, but that remains to be seen. Good things are coming to Athens. Hopefully we will see a few more solid recruits commit within the next few weeks.
