    Clemson 2010 Game Summaries

    Week 1: Bye

    Week 2: Clemson 21 Alabama 11

    Clemson started out 2010 with an impressive victory over Alabama. Korn found M. Jones for a TD on Clemson's first drive of the new season. The two later connected from 19 yards out to put Clemson up 14-0 in the 2nd quarter.

    Bama stuck back with a 26 yard field goal, but Clemson answered just before the half on a 2 yard TD run by McDowell.

    Leading 21-3, the Clemson defense made sure that there was no comeback by the Crimson Tide. Bama' was limited to 148 total yards of offense as McElroy only connected on 37% of his passes (7 drops). Star back Mark Ingram was held to 6 yards on 10 carries. Bama' scored their only TD on a fumble return in the 4th.

    Korn finished 15-18 for 159 yards 2TDs and 0 INTs

    Harper toughed out 132 yards on 26 carries while freshman back McDowell added 42 yards on 11 attempts.

    True freshman 5 star TE J. Jones had 5 catches for 62 yards and appears to be living up to the hype.

    Week 3: Clemson 34 Auburn 10

    Clemson's defense shut down Auburn leading to Clemson's 2nd straight road victory over an SEC team. Auburn was held to just 184 yards of offense and gave up six sacks and two turnovers. They also converted on just 4 of 15 3rd down attempts.

    Clemson controlled the game, taking a 14-3 lead into halftime and extending the lead to 24-3 after 3 quarters.

    Korn finished 19-26 for 241 yards 2TDs and 1 INT

    Harper had his 2nd straight 100 yard game with 107 yards on 24 carries.

    TE J. Jones had 6 catches for 80 yards and 1 TD. WR Ashe added 5 catches for 62 yards.

    MLB Shuey and DE Bowers were the keys to shutting down the Auburn attack. Shuey had 10 tackles and 1 Int. Bowers had 6 tackles including 4 sacks.

    Week 4: Clemson 52 Boston College 10

    Clemson's defense shut down another offense in a big road victory over the Eagles. BC was held to under 300 yards of offense and gave up eight sacks and a turnover. They also converted on just 3 of 11 3rd down attempts.

    Clemson controlled the game, taking a 31-3 lead into halftime and extending the lead throughout the 2nd half.

    Korn was injured in the 2nd quarter. He finished 8-8 for 110 yards. His replacement, Parker, went 11-13 for 161 with 1 TD and 1 INT. He also ran for 2 scores.

    Harper had his 3rd straight 100 yard game with 164 yards on 22 carries and 2 TDs.

    TE J. Jones had 9 catches for 119 yards and 1 TD. WR Jones added 4 catches for 76 yards.

    Six different Tigers recorded sacks.
