The Tigers will look to run a balanced offense with two really good RB's, four solid WR's, and a QB with a big arm. A solid offensive line and TE's round out an offensive unit looking to make a name for themselves after a dismal season last year.

Defensively an experienced front seven will be the teeth of this defense. The defensive backfield has some up-and-comers looking to show that they belong.

    RB Jamie Harper: 10 carries, 62yds, 2TDs

Turnovers and sacks kept the Clemson offense from getting into the red zone where they did have some success. The Clemson defense couldn't get the CU offense off of the field most of the game thanks to effecient passing (20/24 181yds, 3TDs, 1int) and a bruising running game that put up 169 yards and 3 TD's in the win.

Maryland ran for 36 yards and only kept it close because of Clemson's sloppy offensive play in the second half. Clemson ran for 113 yards going 9/14 on 3rd down conversions and coming away with 13 points in the red zone. Maryland never got into the red zone but still put up 13 points.

The Clemson defense played great in the first half, intercepting BC QB D. Shimskie twice on his first four passes, before knocking him out for the season on a late hit where he broke his collarbone. The offense only got 7 points off of those turnovers in the first quarter. The second quarter saw Clemson with a TD pass (66yds), INT return for TD (90yds), and a kick return for a TD (96yds). A sputtering offense and a defense that got complacent with a lead allowed the scoring gap to close.

Field position was key early on in the game as neither team could get any momentum. The Clemson receiving core decided to take a day off, dropping 7 passes, and not converting on third down. Fortunatley Wake Forest was sloppy as well, as their QB missed a lot of open throws. Clemson started controlling the ball in the second quarter with the running game and continued that trend well into the fourth quarter.

This is the game the Tigers lost most of their 9 lives. After taking a 14-0 lead in the second quarter the Clemson defense couldn't stop a field goal drive on NCSU's 3rd possesion of the quarter. On the ensuing drive QB Kyle Parker threw an interception to MLB S. Lucas (who made a great play to pick it) who then took it 84yds for a NCSU TD. Clemson could tell this would be one of those games as it went in to halftime with a 14-10 lead.

NCSU came out hot with a 59yd TD run by RB J. Washington to make it 17-14 NCSU. Clemson responded by easily driving to the NCSU 21 yardline when Parker hit TE Dwayne Allen over the middle, then he got drilled and fumbled the ball at the 13 yardline. Coach was not happy with the missed opportunity. NCSU's drive stalled and they had to punt back to Clemson, who finished this drive with a 32 yd FG to tie the game at 17-17.

First possession of the 4th quarter saw RB J. Washington take a 53yd run to the house for a 24-17 NCSU lead. Clemson's ensuing possesion ended around the 50 yardline when WR Brandon Clear fumbled the ball away. NCSU's next drive went 4 and out, which struck me as strange that they would go for it. Clemson's next drive at up some clock and culminated RB Jamie Harper plunging it in from 2 yds out to tie the game at 24-24 with 1:55 left. Clemson's defense held and got the ball back, but, and ill-advised 4th down failure on their own 42 let NCSU in the backdoor for the win. K J. Miller kicks it dead center from 33 yds out...and comes up short.

1OT starts with NCSU throwing a 24yd pass, then getting a 1yd TD run by Washington. Clemson then proceeds to get a first down, but then stall out on the 11 yardline. 4th and 10 from the 11 yardline needing a TD, Parker has all kinds of time and hits Jones over the middle as he clears the MLB from left to right 31-31 tie.

2OT starts with Clemson running the ball at will and easily converting the first down in a couple of plays. Parker hits Jones again, this time from 12yds out, to go up 38-31. NCSU starts out with a 7yd sack courtesy of DE Daquan Bowers, then runs a screen to Washington, who proceeds to take it 32yds for the TD (this guy has now really got me pissed). Enter K J. Miller. Misses the xp that would have tied it. Clemson wins.

A lot of punting in the first half of this game as neither team did anything in the first quarter. VT got on the board first in the second quarter with a nice 15 yd TD pass to the corner of the endzone. Clemson then answered on the next drive with a 13 yd TD pass. This started a run of 31 unanswered points by Clemson from the end of the second quarter to near the end of the fourth quarter. Great running game just plowed through VT during the second half.

With eight different receivers catching passes from Kyle Parker and RB Jamie Harper pounding out 197 yards rushing, GT couldn't figure out how to slow down the Clemson offense. Although Clemson went 4/10 on third down GT went an even worse 4/13 on third down and couldn't put many drives together. No turnovers by either team also led to a lot of punts. Overall a solid game on both sides of the ball for Clemson.

A lot of punting in the first quarter, it looked like both teams were trying to figure eachother out. Syracuse gets a field goal and was ahead 3-0 after one quarter. More punts and an exchange of TD's ended the second quarter with Syracuse up 10-7. Then the third quarter started with a Clemson taking an eight yard sack on its first play. That drive ended in another punt. Daquan Bowers made his only appearence on the next drive, crushing the Syracuse QB and causing a fumble that was picked up by OLB Jonathan Willard and returned 12 yds for the TD. 14-10 Clemson. Syracuse gets the ball back and throws an interception on the first play of the drive. A few plays later and Clemson plunges into the endzone for a 21-10 lead. Syracuse gets a field goal towards the end of the third quarter to cut the lead to eight points. Clemson gets a field goal in the fourth quarter to take the lead back to 11 points and Syracuse marches right down the field behind their dominant running game for a TD, then goes for two and doesn't get it. Failed onsides attempt later and Clemson is moving down the field inside the 30 or 20 of Syracuse. It's third and one or so and i run a playaction play that was setup, then I throw into double coverage (fail) and get picked on the goal line. With time running out Syracuse gets passed the 50 after a few plays but gets sacked on the final play of the game.

The Clemson D came up big in the third quarter, I wasn't sure if I could keep up as he was running the ball down my throat. Good game Bond.

The Tigers forgot they had a huge conference game this week against a top 10 opponent coming to town. I guess we don't like the rain messing up our hair.

Kyle Parker actually was pretty accurate most of the game, his receivers just couldn't catch the ball, putting up 9 drops as a team (3 BIG ones by WR Brandon Clear). RB Jamie Harper was the lone bright spot on offense, but was lost in the game for two weeks, backup Andre Ellington was very ineffective. A pick and a mid-air-fumble-lost on option plays (1 for a late FSU TD) for both Clemson QB's accounted for all the turnovers.

Defensively the Tigers missed 10+ tackles, FSU RB T. Jones had 8 broken tackles himself, on his way to 120 rushing yards and 5 TDs (not a typo).

Clemson also had 4 penalties in the game with two being gigantic swings of momentum early on. We were up 3-0 and had just stopped FSU inside the 10 or 15 and it was 4th and 3. FSU lines up and misses the FG, while I'm pumping up the crowd I hit the stick down and jump offsides (fail) giving FSU the 1st down. One play later FSU is in the endzone and up 7-3. Next drive we go all the way down to a 2nd and goal on the FSU 5 yard line. False start Clemson and we are kicking a FG that drive to be down 7-6 and from there we never got anything going.

Very dissapointed in our play after this game.

The Clemson defense jump started the scoring in this game when Daquan Bowers hit UGA QB L. Gray causing a fluttering pass to the WR on the right sideline. This pass was intercepted by CB Xavier Brewer and the offense found the endzone on the ensuing drive late in the first quarter. UGA intercepts an option pitch for the fumble recovery near the end of the first.

UGA drives down after the turnover only to miss a FG early in the second quarter. Clemson hits a 23yd FG as time expires in the half to go up 10-0.

After a Clemson punt after their first drive of the second half, UGA drives down the field only to miss a 45yd FG a couple of minutes into the third quarter.

A minute or so into the fourth quarter, Clemson banks in a 35yd FG off the left upright for a 13-0 lead. Clemson adds another 46yd FG with less than two minutes in the game to put the score at 16-0, then seals the win with another pick by CB Xavier Brewer.

Except for the scores mentioned above, most of the other drives ended in punts, making this game a battle of field position.

This game was Clemson domination. Clemson jumped out to a 14 point lead in the first quarter, when on Rutgers 2nd possession, they coughed up the football on a huge user hit by MLB Brandon Maye which was scooped up by SS Jonathan Meeks and he took it 37 yards for the TD. Andre Ellington got a 1 yard TD in the second quarter and TE David Allen got a 22 yard TD reception in the 3rd quarter. K Pat Robinson got a field goal in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters. The last TD came from the 2nd team Defense when a hit on the QB forced an errant throw and freshmen CB Joe Gonzales picked of the pass and went 81 yards for the TD. Both 2nd teams played the entire fourth quarter for Clemson.

The Clemson offense was clicking this game for the most part. Three drops by the WR's and a huge fumble by RB Andre Ellington at the end of the game were the only miscues. Unfortunately for the Clemson defense, so was the Indiana offense, led by RB D. Willis and his 122 yards and 4 rushing TD's.

Clemson got on the board first with a 24yd FG a little over half way through the first quarter. Then Texas A&M put three unanswered TD's on the board, until Clemson got its first TD half way through the third quarter. A&M put an offensive and defensive TD on the board in the fourth quarter and Clemson got another TD with less than 2 minutes left.

A&M QB D. Brooks was 8/11 for 180yds and 2TDs, with 1 INT. RB C. Michael plowed through the Clemson defense for 161yds and 2 TD's. Very efficient game for the Aggies.

The Clemson receivers combined for 5 dropped passes.

Clemson RB Andre Ellington led the way for the Tigers, knocking out 163 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, including a 55 yard option TD run. The Clemson defense almost pitched the shutout but gave up a TD to the Terps in the fourth quarter. Just too many turnovers for the Terps and not enough answers for Andre Ellington. QB Kyle Parker continues to disappoint the Clemson coaching staff.

A sputtering Clemson offense got some help from the special teams by way of a kick return for a TD in the first half to keep it close early. With RB Andre Ellington missing significant time this game after getting knicked up, the offense just wasn't capable of being consistent. Fortunately a 41yd screen pass for a TD to backup RB Thomas Morton was able to put the Tigers up by two scores late. BC got within five but failed on the 2 point attempt, recovered the onside kick and went no where with it.

Clemson wins another game on the road with another good performance from RB Andre Ellington leading the way. QB Kyle Parker was efficient but he did throw a red zone interception on the goal line (terrible read by me). CB Coty Sensabaugh killed two Wake Forest drives by way of great interceptions. Wake Forest's recievers were the story of the game on the other side, combining to drop 7 passes as a group. Wake Forest got the first points of the game while Clemson didn't score until the very end of the first quarter. It was all Clemson after that.

QB Kyle Parker went down early in the first half but QB Tajh Boyd stepped in and did his job well. The Clemson rushing attack stomped right through the Wolfpack defense to the tune of 301 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs. RB Andre Ellington put up 165 rushing yards and 2 TDs. The Clemson offense totaled over 500 yards of offense, while the Clemson defense only gave up 217 yards of offense to NCSU.

With a 17-10 lead over FSU with less than 2 minutes left in the first half QB Kyle Parker hit slot WR Brandon Ford over the middle on a post route. Ford broke two takles and took it 71 yards for a TD. FSU's next possession ended up with a fumble on the sideline after a completed pass to a WR, LOLB Daniel Andrews picked it up and went 36 yards for the TD. 14 points in less than 30 seconds and Clemson never really looked back. Even with the FSU defense getting tough in the second half.
