With sawemoff running a coordinator progression to a head coaching dynasty, I thought I'd do much of the same. I Peench is to credit for both of us, as he's done great things in his experiences thus far offline.

I'll be a defensive coordinator, and I'll attempt to land the big job eventually, after plenty of time refining my defensive craft.

I've decided to make it extremely hard on myself, so I may be a year or two behind either Peench/saw in getting the dream job I want. I'm selecting to be Georgia State's defensive coordinator, as a school, the lowest rated Overall, Offense and Defense(60 for all.)

Defensive Coordinator Martin Webb Jr was signed to a 4-year contract with the Georgia State who currently resides in the Sun Belt. With 5 wins being the target this season, Martin's job security currently stands at safe.

So at the 2/3rds mark, we are 1-7. Disappointing for sure, but what is remarkable is how well we played against big teams(West Virginia and Alabama,) yet against FCS teams it's like my guys are on the peewee field, they've got Joe Montana at Quarterback and Earl Campbell lined up beside him. Something goofy with the game and sliders mixing strangely, otherwise, these sliders play out perfectly. I have to settle with the fact that my team is just full of shitty 60ish players, and when I get spread thin against 4WR and 5WR sets, that my 4th cornerback rated 59 overall really isn't going to do much. Hopefully I can spend next season being more productive, and with the recruiting class I might get a little help, and hopefully progression. Still got to finish this season strong though and not put the cart ahead of the horse.

I was doing a GSU offline myself on early pass. One thing I noticed, that IDK if you have seen yet or not, is that with GSU having no school history or records, you get an inflated amount of XP as you are breaking school records almost every game. Again don't know if you have seen that yet, or not.

I have seen a little bit of it, early on, it took me about 5 weeks to get to a Level 2 DC, then when I started playing teams and sacking the quarterback, or picking the ball off, it was breaking some of the records. But, with how bad this offense is, my XP hasn't just shot through the roof, and since I'll likely just be spending 2 years here total, I don't imagine it's going to help all too much. My defense is still ranked 100+.

I would normally do the final season rankings for my defense, but there's not really a way to access it in the Point Per Game, Rushing Yards Allowed Per Game, etc. etc. without it being a lot of math. Let's just say that I sucked. One win, that's god awful. I might not have gotten the 'run support' I wanted either, but next year needs to be different if I want to get recognized for a job oppurtunity.

Pass defense is looking good! Yet that could be due to everyone running at will on you.

Yeah, seeing the schedule ahead of me, I knew my pass defense would be slightly inflated, and my run defense looking worse than it should. Illinois really surprised me, especially after I held 'Bama and Arizona in year one in check.

Honestly, I'm not doing much recruiting at all. I'm checking year one, to maybe re-allocate some points on guys, but not really adding anyone to it. As a coordinator I'm taking a backseat in that regard.
