    HOF Power Rankings Formula
    After 4 seasons of just flying along with no criteria for the rankings...and the fact that Auburn was always at the top...decided that it was time to add some substance to these rankings....so;
You only earn points for wins....
    1. A win=1
    2. A win againist a conference team=1
    3. A win againist a non conference team=.5
    3. A win againist a top ten team=1
    4. A win againist a team ranked 11-25=.5
    5. A win by a TD or less=1
Sim games whether vs the cpu or a scheduled user game do not receive points.
The WOW Factor=.25......points that the Commish just assigns because he thought it was a great game....no criteria...
The UNWOW Factor=-.25...points that the Commish just takes away because your game was bad...ie. scoring a TD with less than 2 minutes left, when you are ahead by 30 pts...
So as an example: UW beats Oregon in a heavy rainstorm in Seattle in Nov:
+1 Win, +1 Conf. team, +1 top ten team Oregon, Won by FG +1...wow factor: .25....UW drove 60 yards in 90 seconds to win...and the total is: 4.25 pts..
Teams having equal points will share the ranking.
Number of points scored or allowed have no bearing.....

Comments welcome...although giving the Commish to hard of a time could result in UNWOW pts. being assigned before your first game!

Just had a thought. Since this is power rankings, wouldn't it make more sense to reward a team for winning by more than a TD than for winning by less than a TD? Maybe something like a close win, depending on the scenario, could be a WOW or UNWOW thing.

Wk 4 Power Rankings......Florida is holding...but after this week look for a PAC 12 team to jump to the top...as Stanford/Oregon...Col/USC are all user games and all teams are ranked....Oregon has played 3 ranked teams...Coach Mike and the Cardinals are going to have a challenge.....look for USC to take Colorado...but Coach HAL will have the Buffs ready....
Waiting in the wings and ready to jump all over any PAC 12 miscues is our defending champ Auburn....and LSU....who is talking national championship again this year....but all we hear is talk....the door to the natty leads thru...???....our pick is coming out of the PAC 12 this year...
Meanwhile our bottom ranked teams....UW as usual falters againist the cpu early on as it takes the old coach awhile to adjust to the sliders....Utah played two #1 rank teams, Auburn, USC straight...bounced back againist Nev....and SC, Alabama bounced back with solid wins this week....

Week 5...as expected the Oregon/Stanford winner moves to the top...so that would be Oregon....Florida, USC and Auburn all within a point or less...so with more conference and conf/user games coming up now that we are in week 12....look for changes

Updated Power Rankings thru Wk 8....

USC...#1 no question, 6 of 7 wins againist ranked teams

After that its all SEC for the next 3 spots..Auburn on the rise......USC in its march to the top, knocked off 4 ranked PAC 12 ranked teams...only Stanford in Week 10 can stop the USC machine..

Meanwhile at the bottom, the Commish comes back from a week long move and is totally out of snyc with the game, sliders...who knows?

Week 10 was a key week for user games, we had 4..then Florida dropped so UGA played the cpu.....USC and Auburn continue their tight race as they won big user games againist ranked teams...and close games...so pts. wise they matched each other.....UGA is our 3rd unbeaten team...with the Stanford and LSU losses, Oregon moved up with a solid win over Colorado...with 3 games left USC has no user games and unranked teams....Auburn and UGA play each other...with Auburn playing Alabama in a user game as well....UGA and Alabama are both ranked in the top ten....so unless Auburn loses againist either....it looks like our defending national champ will take the HOF top spot....
