Take your vote. If we vote Normal, we will then figure out a good ratio.
The discussion all day has been that the recruiting tree will get filled first and the others ignored. While I don't disagree the recruiting tree is probably the most important, the other trees have some good stuff in them too.
Agreed. Sure you can recruit well all you want but it would be good to dump some point in other areas. It makes sense the lower rated schools would go after recruiting first but personally I will probably go towards other things while not ignoring recruiting.
Looks like we are tied on the vote here. We need to figure this out.
I'm voting slow because I would rather take my time and work my way up the ranks and maybe all of us will progress similarly, resulting in more exciting games/recruiting as the dynasty goes on.
That makes it 6:4 slow then.
Two have yet to vote and they would be UofCWildcat and bigrice25
Is it cool if I wait to vote till this weekend? Going to test heavy then
You have until rosters are ready to go. I have no idea when that is though.
From all that i have been reading on the site, i think im leaning toward slow.
Masler, where did we land on the "respecs on/off" question? I think that a lot of us (including me) were leaning towards "no respecs" but if we do go with slow maybe we should allow them after all. With slow we'll never come close to getting every skill in both trees so, with as unrealistic as I think it is to switch up, that would at least allow us to play with game management if we wanted.
I think I'd still vote "no" on respecs, but it's not as hard of a "no" as it'd be on normal progression where we'll cap out around level 45.
Respecs are voluntary right?
Respecs? Do you mean resetting the upgrades? I'm opposed to that.
Starting my test Dynasty. Anyone got any idea what I oughta start at for Coach Starting Level?
It's your choice I believe. I started up my side league last night and saw no feature to turn that off but I bet it's optional, you can reset it or not.
Holy fuck! So started with Arizona on slow and at level 1. Simulated to the conference championship game. Arizona is 10-2 with losses to UCLA and Oregon. I'm currently 6th in the nation and facing Oregon in the PAC-12 championship. Dream season.
Lol forgot the important stuff. I'm now level 6 (+5 levels at CCG Week)
And now Arizona beats Oregon and jumps Alabama (11-1) and Iowa (10-2 and not in the B1G CCG) to get to the title. Suspect Arizona would jump an SEC team but I won't fight it. I'm also playing undefeated Boise St.
There's an option to allow them or not allow them when you start a dynasty. Yes they're voluntary but I don't think that anyone should be allowed to respec as it's pretty dumb. The only caveat that I see with it now is that if we choose slow speed no one will every get to both top tiers so others may not get the variety that they want.
Where is the option? I must have completely overlooked it. I dont see us using them either way.
