College Football is an Offensive Game I've seen so many people say they prefer defense over offense. I don't have a problem with that although I do take offense when they attach the idea that "real" football guys prefer defense. The NFL is a different animal from college. The average NFL team scores around 21 points while a college team scores around 27. Even when you take out the creampuffs on the schedule, college games are more offensive oriented which I like. Seven of the last ten national champions scored over 30 points in the championship game. Why is that a bad thing for some people? There is a poll on OS asking whether you would want NCAA 11 to be more offensive oriented or defensive oriented. The results are overwhelmingly in favour of defense (22 to 4 last I checked for those two options). I personally prefer watching a game where both teams combine for 50+ points as opposed to two teams scoring under 30. I find it more frustrating to watch bad offense vs. bad defense. Same goes for video games. Not being able to score is more frustrating to me than not being able to stop the opponent. Am I alone on this?
