College Football Pick'Em Details College Football Confidence Pool: Introduction: Hello and welcome to TheCrumbIsHere's College Football Confidence Pool. The College Football Confidence Pool asks for the players to select the winners of 15 college football games each week of the season and to also rank their individual "confidence" on each of the 15 games. In addition bonuses help to add to the fun and entertainment value of the pool. The College Football Confidence Pool runs through the entire regular season and concludes with the 500 point plus Bowl Sheet, in which you try to predict the winners of all of the 2010-2011 Bowl Games (quite a challenge if you've never done it in the past). How The Pool Works: Confidence Scoring: 1. Every week 15 games will be selected in which your intention is to predict the winner of each of these fifteen games. However, on top of this you are to assign a point value ranging from 1-15 for each game. 2. The number of points you place on each individual game is the number of points that you will win. 3. You can only use each of the numbers from 1-15 once. 4. Bonuses are not included in this confidence scoring unless explicitly stated by myself in the bonuses section.(An example of when this would occur is if I change the 15 point selection to a 20 point one) 5. Maximum Score not including bonuses each week is 120. 6. Example of a correct week of picks: 1 point - Indiana over Illinois 2 points - Minnesota over Wisconsin 3 points - Southern Miss over Houston 4 points - Auburn over Ole Miss 5 points - Washington St. over UCLA 6 points - Texas over O.K. State 7 points - Va. Tech over Pitt. 8 points - Alabama over Miss. St. 9 points - Oregon over Cal. 10 points - OSU over MSU 11 points - Purdue over Iowa 12 points - Miami over Tennessee 13 points - Eastern Michigan over Central Florida 14 points - Penn St. over Northwestern 15 points - West Virginia over Boston College The Schedule Of The Pool: The pool will be updated each Monday Night during the College Football season(except for the opening week of the season in which the pool will be updated on Tuesday Night). You will have until 11:00 AM Saturday each week to get your selections into the pool. Standings will be available at: http://www.swoopzone.net/cfball2010/seasonstandings.html. Making Your Weekly Entry: To make your selections each week, you will be submitting them to me through a simple web form, located at http://www.swoopzone.net/cfball2010/tournamententry.html. Each week, you will select the winners of those 15 games and select your confidence points for each game and that will submit me the first part of your entry. The second thing you will do each week is to submit your bonus selections for the week. Bonuses will be posted directly in this thread. Just remember to do this each and every week and to have them into me by 11:00 AM that Saturday. Bonuses will also be listed weekly at: http://www.swoopzone.net/cfball2010/bonuses.html. Pre-Season College Football Predictions: Before the season begins, I will be giving each player the opportunity to gain a few extra points by simply projecting the winners of each of the College Football Conferences, The Heisman Trophy Winner, The Best of the Unfortunate and the Participants in the National Championship Game. Correct picks here can earn you up to 23 bonus points. Pre-Season College Football Predictions are listed at: http://www.swoopzone.net/cfball2010/bonuses.html. These are to be posted by 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 4th.
