BC's Loss Gives Atlantic To NC State

    Quick Hits
    #13 BC falls to #23 Maryland on the road. 24 - 34

#17 Auburn tops rival #10 Alabama at home, takes control of SEC West. 28 - 24

Wake falls to Vandy at home. 31 - 15

Ole' Miss loses a close one to #24 LSU at home. 27 - 21

#7 NC State stomps lowly rival ECU at home. 14 - 63

Maryland players celebrate after killing BC's ACC title hopes.

NC States dominates in-state rival ECU.

Auburn takes control of their own destiny.

    What We Learned

#1. The ACC Atlantic division is loaded with great teams and confusion.

BC sits in second place, even though they beat the division leading Wolfpack. The third place team, Maryland, beat the second place team BC, who like I mentioned before, defeated the #1 team in the division. Confused yet??? So is everyone else.

#2. Auburn gets its shot at SEC glory.

Auburn took control of their division Saturday and will get a shot at the SEC Championship this year against what looks to be a weak Florida team. Alabama began the season with high hopes of another National Championship, but with late losses to Miss St. and Auburn, those dreams were dashed.
