    What We Learned

#1. Maryland has a great defensive backfield.

A confident Mississippi St went into Maryland and got pushed around by the Terps. The initially looked to be a close one, but mistakes by the Bulldogs led to quick scores and a scrapped gameplan. After a touchdown on a kick-off return, Maryland never looked back.

#2. Ole Miss looks to be a contender this year in the SEC.

The Reb's went into the Wake Forest game and took care of business. The Rebal offense emassed a total of 408 yards, no turnovers and went 4-4 in the red zone. Their QB only missed on two passes and had a rusher go over 100 yards on the day. I would say that was a pretty complete game.

#3. The Eagles from Boston keep flying high.

Two ranked teams squared off Saturday in Boston, but only one team looked derserving of their rank. Miami needs to find a defense before they play next week or it could look the same as this week. BC gouged the Hurricane defense for almost 400 yards passing and 100 yards rushing.
