    Game Of The Week

    [IMG][IMG]
The Razorbacks travel to Boulder this week in our College GameDay Game of The Week. The Razorbacks are currently #25 in the polls and look to climb higher with a win on the road over a yough Pac-12 opponent. The Buffaloes meanwhile, have not had the best start to their season and have come out 0-2 to start the season. They need a big win this week to get theirs season back on track.

    Game Of The Week

    #3[IMG] VS[IMG]

The College GameDay crew is heading out to Oregon this week, to check out the big game! Cal is visiting Eugene, to take on the Oregon Ducks. Oregon faithful are out loud and strong, to support their team. The Ducks are undefeated, and ranked 3rd in the country. They are putting up points in bunches and appear to be in good form to build on the success that Chip Kelly brought to Eugene. The Cal Golden Bears need a win bad here to stay in contention in the PAC-12. Look for a heated battle in this one, and a great game for everyone in attendance!

Here is our list of the pre-season All-UC team, We have gathered the best players in our league all on one team. These football players stand above the competition and excel at their current position. They are exceptional young men, and all have the talent to get to the next level and play professional football.
    Players To Watch
    [IMG]
    QB Tyler Russell
Mississippi State’s signal caller broke 11 single-season school records as a junior, completing 231 passes for 2,897 yards and 24 touchdowns. The 6-4, 220-pounder currently stands as the school’s all-time leader in passing efficiency (136.38), and is only one passing touchdown away from the tying the school record for passing touchdowns (38), held by Derrick Taite (1993-96).
    RB Ka'Deem Carey
Carey was named 2012 All-Pac-12 First-Team and ended the season as the nation's leading rusher in yards per game (148.4) and total yards (1,929). He broke Trung Canidate's single-season school-record rushing mark of 1,602 yards from 1999 in the first quarter of the Arizona State game on Nov. 23. Against Colorado on Nov. 10, he broke the Pac-12 and UA single-game rushing records with 366 yards on the ground. His 1,929 yards rank No. 5 in Pac-12 single-season history. Carey's 24 touchdowns (23 rushing and one receiving) ranked No. 5 nationally and No. 1 in the Pac-12 while breaking the Arizona single-season rushing TD school record.
    DT Will Sutton
Sutton posted 63 tackles, including 23.5 for loss and 13 sacks this past season en route to receiving the Pac-12 Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year award and the prestigious Morris Trophy, as well as the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl Defensive MVP. He finished his junior year ranked second in the nation in 1.92 tackles for loss per game and third nationally with 1.08 sacks per game.
    OLB Anthony Barr
One player who is still around for the Bruins is Barr, the squad’s breakout star in 2012. “This is the most attention I’ve ever gotten in my life,” the senior linebacker said at Friday’s event. “I have no problem being up here.” Last year, in his first season at the position, Barr recorded 83 tackles and 13.5 sacks, the nation’s second-best mark. He said that during the spring he focused on plays that do not involve him rushing the passer, saying he was not as comfortable backpedaling and dropping into coverage in 2012. Going after the quarterback seemed to come pretty naturally to him, though. Asked about his huge hit on Matt Barkley in UCLA’s victory over USC last year, Barr laughed. “It’s funny you ask,” Barr said. “I want to know why the tackle just let me go. For whatever reason, he should be up here talking to you guys. He’s the reason why I was able to make that play.” If Hundley and Barr continue to make strides in improvement, UCLA could be laughing all the way to another Pac-12 Championship Game appearance.

The UCLA Bruins travel to Sooner country in this week's big game. A game featuring two ranked teams, and 2 of college football's most storied programs. This will be a good game as these teams are very even on paper. Either team getting the W here, would not come as a surprise to anyone. In the first game of the season, the importance of getting that 1st win of the year can not be overstated. "This game is huge" OU QB Blake Bell, said during the team interviews. "We need to go out there and the country that we are better than our ranking, and stomping on UCLA is how we plan to do it."

    Pre-Season Top-5 Power Rankings
    [IMG][IMG]

#20 [IMG] 1 of only 2 ranked teams in the league, the UCLA Bruins are a strong team, that has great balance. With B ratings in every category, there is no glaring weakness to this team. The Bruins have a yough schedule this year, so they will need that balance every week. No superstar players, but good depth at skill positions.

Key Games: @ OU, @ Stanford, @ Oregon, @ USC

#25[IMG] The only other ranked team in the league is Vandy. Vandy has had quite the turnaround as of late and have the Commodore fans buzzing with excitement for this season. Coach Franklin has taken Vandy to 2 straight bowl games, and they are coming off of a 9-win season. Can Vanderbilt continue this success? Vandy has 3 great WR's to lead their team, but will they struggle in defensive conference, and a schedule that has them playing 4 pre-season Top-10 teams?

Key Games: @ SC, VS UGA, @ TAMU, @ UF

[IMG] Arizona State is coming off of it's first winning season in 6 years and an bowl game victory to end the season. Now ASU has to show the PAC-12 last season was no fluke, and that they have the tools to compete with the big dogs out west. With a great offensive and defensive line, and a stable of great, young QB's, ASU certainly has the tools needed to be successful, now coach @Ruckus Redbird19 has to use them.

Key Games: @ Stanford, vs USC, @ UCLA, vs Arizona

[IMG] The deepest team in the league, on paper, is Ole Miss. This team is stacked and has all the talent you would expect to see on an SEC team's roster. With plenty of play-makers on offense and defense, it would surprise many to know that the Offensive Line is where Ole Miss truly stands out. With 4 Seniors leading the way, Ole Miss has the makings of a dangerous ground n' pound team. Especially with the speedy HB Jeff Scott in the backfield.

Key Games: @ Bama, vs TAMU, vs LSU

[IMG] The Huskies have undoubtedly, the best offense in the league. With standout players at every skill position, QB Keith Price's only problem this season is not having enough football's to throw. Speed is all over the field for this Huskies offense, and they have the ability to score in bunches. Now if the defense can get a few stops here and there, the Huskies have the advantage in any shoot-out.

Key Games: @ UL, @ Stanford, vs Oregon, @ UCLA

With my College Gameday segment I am going to make it more of an NCAA-wide coverage show. Up until now, I was only doing the best user game. Now I am going to do best game of the week, out of the entire country.

    #2 Texas A&M (4-0) vs Arkansas (3-1)

We have an SEC rivalry game on our hands in the Week 5 UC Game of the Week. @-Balla- is going to try and play spoiler, as they take on Heisman-Winner Johnny Manziel and the #2 ranked Texas A&M Aggies. Two top-5 offenses are facing off here, in what is sure to be a high-scoring game. The Aggies do have the edge in scoring and defense, so they are favored right now to come away victorious. If Manziel can do what he does best, and create plays with his feet AND arm, then A&M is very, very tough to beat. The Razorbacks are going to have a tough time containing him, but if they can it will go a long way to helping them get the W. Arkansas is coming off of a tough to ASU last week, so look for them to come out with a fire, and play with purpose.
