Colorado recruiting updates With the football season coming to an end, the recuiting season is just beginning to heat up. With that in mind we wanted to give you an in depth look at some of the key Colorado Buffaloes current signees: 1. FS Matt Davis - 6'4" 217lbs. - Davis is a kid with decent speed and will bring a physical brand to our defense. He is a sure tackler that with average cover skills. 2. CB David Chambers - 6'3 182lbs. - Chambers is a kid we really like that once again will help bolster our secondary in the future. He will bring both solid man and zone coverage skills with a huge frame for a corner. Before long Chambers and Davis will play on the same field together. 3. OLB Morris Johnson - 6'2" 254lbs. - Johnson is a monster at linebacker. With his size you would be absolutely taken back by his mobility. He is a sure tackler that could even end up playing DE when it's all said and done. 4. WR Kellen Frederick - 6'1" 199lbs. - Frederick is a burner. He will join the team as one of it's fastest members. When you talk about potential you talk about this guy. With a young QB waiting in the wings, this could wind up being the #1 guy down the line. 5. ATH Sean Hand - 6'1" 240lbs. - Hand appears to be heading down the WR path. With a couple of big time contributors leaving this season it would seem to make the most sense. The tough part is he can actually play HB and might be headed there as well. We will bring him in and decide where he will excel at before the start of his first game. *** those are the guys we are most excited about seeing. Two other guys with stories behind them are FB Dominique Britton. We do not have a FB on this roster so he will be the incumbent starter at that position. Secondly is TE Brian Burks who is a 2star guy. He can catch reasonably well, but it's the fact we stole him from Oklahoma St. that makes him note worthy. At least for this year that was the closest user battle I've had with a player yet.
