    Game Preview
A rematch of last year's pac-12 Championship game, where the (3-1) Washington State cougars will face the (1-3) Colorado Buffalo's. since both coaches have taken over in 2011 the games have been highly contested every year. There hasn't been a game where any team has beaten the other by more than a touchdown. Both teams are excited to play each other in a huge conference game to gain dominance in their respective divisions.

    Key Matchups

Colorado's Kenny Bassit vs. The Washington State Front 7

Washington State will have a nightmare of a running back to defend in Kenny Bassit. The cougars have had trouble in the past with speedy running backs, where back in week 2 West Virginia's Andrew Buie ran for 176 yards, the highest total yards has ever ran on this defense in this 4 year span. "Defensive Tackles TJ Polai and Jacob Heath Will have to clog up the middle to free up the linebackers and safeties, If we can control the middle of the line, we put our team in a better chance to win the game"

Washington State's Collin Halliday vs. Colorado's defense

The weakest point to the Washington State's offense has been the quarterback play of Cale Holliday, The redshirt senior has already thrown 6 interceptions and fumbled the ball twice. Halliday has a tendency to turn the ball over when pressure comes his way. "wide recievers have to get open too, the quarterback needs a place to throw the ball" coach stated. During the week 3 bye the Cougars stripped the old playbook and simplified it down to quicker passes to get the ball out Halliday's hands quicker. As a result he had his best game last week of 11-15 108 yards and 2 touchdowns and no turnovers. Let's see if he continues his progress

    Key questions

-Can the Washington State offensive line control the line of scrimmage?

    - Will Sophomore Quarterback Darren Thomas have his redshirt burned if Halliday's struggles contiune?

    Random Facts

-The Colorado Buffalo's have never lost to the cougars at home

    - The Washington State Defense is averaging 3 points allowed given up in 2 conference games, while averaging 31 points allowed in non conference games

    - Washington State has never played a game at night

    - This will be Washington State's 3rd road game in 4 games.. They only have 5 home games in 12 games.
