Colts beat Jets 35-17 (AFC Championship game)

    In a rematch of last years AFC title game the Jets traveled to Indy to take on the Colts. Lots of hype lead up to this game as the Jets had a bad taste in there mouth from last years game results and looked to avenge it. And off of last years disappointing finish the Colts stared at a chance at redeeming last years Super bowl loss. What else could football fans ask for this is the game of the year so far. The ratings for this game were threw the roof being the most watched Conference title game in NFL history.

    First Quarter

    With a rambunctious crowd behind them the Colts took the kickoff and finished the initial drive off with a touchdown taking a 7-0 lead. Jets responded with a long drive of there own ending with a fumble by Shone Green at the 2 yard line recovered by the Colts.

    Second Quarter

    The Colts took a long drive 94 yards capped off by a Jamal Charles 3 yard touchdown run. With 2 minutes left in the half the Jets were not thinking security and marched down the field to score a touchdown just before half making it 14-7 Colts at half.

    Third Quarter

    After a 3 and out the Jets punted to start the quarter.Giving the COlts solid field position they answered with a touchdown drive to take it to 21-7.Early in the next drive Shone Green broke a 65 yard scamper to cut the lead to 21-14.On the kickoff Jamal Charles housed the kickoff 98 yards to give the Colts a 2 td buffer 28-14. The JEts ended the 3rd with a field goal cutting the lead to 28-17.

    Fourth Quarter

    With a couple long drives the Colts controlled the clock capping it off with a touchdown on a halfback dive play.
