Luck looks dejected after finding out he will miss 5 weeks with a torn labrum

Riding a 2 game winning streak the Colts traveled into Jacksonville for their 2nd meeting with the Jaguars. The defense has stepped up in recent weeks with only allowing 3 points in their 2 previous games while holding both opponents under 100 yards. After what transpired in the game against the Jags, the defense will need to continue that strong play as Andrew Luck would get hurt on a broken play and is now out 5 weeks with a torn labrum. The team went out and signed 2 good backups last offseason just in case this were to happen and now the offense is in the hands of Zac Dyssert or Gabe Minor.

The game would start out with the Colts receiving the ball to start. They would come out with an impressive drive mixing short passes and runs while eating up 5 minutes off the clock. The drive would end on a 2 yard td run by Bernard Pierce for the early 7-0 lead. Following a punt by the Jags, the Colts would take over again. Following another impressive drive, Luck would connect with his favorite red zone target TE Coby Fleener in the back of the endzone for a 14-0 lead. The Colts would pick off a Ryen Irwin pass on the next drive and seemed to be heading for another score until LB Williams jumped in front of a pass intended for Fleener in Jags territory. The Jags would capitalize and drive the length of the field to get within 7 when Irwin would connect with TE Lee Smith for a 3 yard score to head into the half 14-7.

The second half would be quiet for the most part. The only scoring in the 3rd quarter would come on a 48 yard field goal by Connor Barth to put the Colts up 17-7. Barth would connect on another field goal midway through the 4th quarter to push the lead to 20-7. The Jags however would not give up and would score quickly in 2 plays when Irwin would find TE Steriti behind the defender to make it 20-14. With no timeouts left, the Jags opted to kick the ball off as opposed to an onsides kick with 2:34 left. The Colts would milk the clock before giving the ball back to the Jags with around 30 seconds to go. Following a couple completions, Irwin would be sacked by Bjoern Werner with about 8 seconds left and the Jags didn't have enough time to get another play off.

GG CHUNKNESS and thanks for injuring Luck :mad::mad::mad::mad:
