I thought the same thing. The FS trade is fine, but the DEs? 89 for a 70 OVR? That is too much in my opinion.

Ya. I really want to be open and let guys make decisions, but we also have to keep the integrity of our teams for when owners leave.

Um...whomever posted that might be mistaken on overall. I'm looking at Jags roster now, and if it's DT Rob Meier, that guy's overall is a 69. If that is the player in question, I got no problem with the modified trade. If there is some other R. Meier at DT on the Jags that I do not see that is a 57 OVR, then I have problems with trade.

I think it was supposed to be a 69 OVR DT R. Meier.

    Bills-Raiders Trade

    Bills send:

    K--- Rian Lindell 79 overall
    LE---Aaron Mayben 77 overall

    Raiders send:

    K---Sebastien Janikowski 74 overall
    LE --Trevor Scott 72 overall

    Buffalo Bills agree

Ratings are not even but I can see where Janokowski's kicking power would help on his value.

    Your thoughts?????

    Chiefs & Jags Trade Review

    Chiefs send:
    LG-B. Waters (94)
    WR-K. McKinley (57)

    Chiefs receive:
    WR-M. Sims-Walker (67)
    DT-T. Knighton (66)
    SS-G. Alexander (66) ovr

I'll look more close tomorrow, i'd like to get Winuvas's input on why I should allow this to pass, but this is a STUD Guard for a buncha scruffs, and if I remember correctly McKinley is super fast. I think at least.

    thoughts?

It was originally a 3 for 1 deal, but Dunlap would fall under 53 players with 3 for 1. So I threw in McKinley. He is fast (90 speed) but C potential and has severe case of fumbilitis (47 or 37 carry rating, YUK).

2 of 3 players I picked up are B potential players in Sims-Walker and Alexander. Knighton is C potential (thought he was B).

I traded him to Jags cause this was best deal I could get for him, honestly. Want to dump him before trade deadline and had few takers, even fewer with quality I was looking for.

    But it's board's call.

If you look at this trade from the outside looking in and just take into account pure numbers, this trade should not be allowed to pass as is.

But, Win is trying to get younger and build for the future, so I can see what his is trying to do. There have even been numerous reports that OL ratings are broken this year. I watched a youtube video where one guy put his punter, kicker,QB and scrub DBs on his line and they held their own vs defensive players like Freeney,Jared Allen etc. I have not done my own research so dont know if that holds water.

I myself have even tried to trade the best OL in the game Hutchinson.

with all that said, I can approve this trade if the Chiefs take out the 2nd player included and the Jags will just have to sign a FA.

i think the Jags should add a least a young player with A potential and a 70 or more...this isn't great trade but. with another better player it should pass

i guess i gotta be honest. my true issue is winuvas has stated several times that he might quit. I dont want him to quit. i have done all i can to talk him into not quitting. but if he does and he trades away one of his few 90s player for a few scrubs, thats gonna be an impossible team to fill. I wont vote until I hear more of what the board says.

Then it comes down to asking Win if he is going to stick with this. If he cant say for sure 100% that he is sticking with his Chiefs, I cant vote to pass this trade. The ONLY reason I would vote in favor, would be Win's committment to building his team for the future. And if this is not the case and he would be trading him just out of frustration, Id have to say no.

I know that things can come up that would cause owners to step down but if Win says he is going to stay in it, I would believe him.
