My knowledge is limited on computers but I need a little help. Anybody know how to get or build a comp with a 2.4 ghz proc and a decent video card.

Basically it needs to play Starcraft 2. I'm hoping to spend under $200. Any help?

Good luck. Starcraft II probably requires a lot to run (mostly up to date graphic cards and plenty of memory)

www.newegg.com is a good place to start.

    tigerdirect is excellent as well

They sell "barebones" kits and you can get some fairly decent deals. 200$ to play Starcraft 2 is a pretty limited budget when you're talking about building a PC from scratch. I would start with the 200 bucks and put it towards SOME of the parts you need for a PC. Then once you save up a little more, finish the build.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

Send Heath a PM I'm sure that he knows all the specs by heart since Pro doesn't know how to change color. ;)

I found this dude on craigslist. He says he builds computers. This is his response email back to me. Is this a good deal?

total will come around to 320ish with a hard drive and operating system. Now, if you have your own hard drive the price will be 300 flat. ( They cost a lot nowadays)

    Specs ATHLON 3.3GHZ TRICORE(3 CORES) 4GB DDR3 RAM GT 430 1GB DDR5 160GB HDD SATA ASUS M4N68T-M 450W PSU

My brother builds cpu's and he is legit for sure. Let me know if you're interested and I can shoot you his number. He lives in Washington state so it would have to be built and then shipped out.
