I play a game on my computer that freezes like crazy before the screen goes blue with error message concerning file ialmnt5.sys and I need to shut computer off and restart computer. I am planning on taking computer to my computer tech tomorrow. Before I take it to him to figure it out does anyone have any ideas on what is happening?

    Thanks

A quick Google search yields a variety of fixes to your driver related issue.

Did a search and ended up at intel.com...ended up here http://www.intel.com/support/detect.htm

tried to update and got this message:

A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver Update Utility is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.

I will have to talk to my comp tech then. He was the one who sold me the cpu.

What is it a driver for? I recommend finding the correct driver and installing it.

I am not sure. The 2 games that are freezing and the bluescreen comes up are bejeweled twist and bejeweled 3.

Yeah she plays them, and yes I play them as well. I don't play too many puzzle games but the bejeweled series of games are nice and relaxing. lol
