Bronco's Buck Ravens .. Baltimore Held To 29 Rushing Yards

Baltimore - The AFC Championship game seemed to be anyone's game to win and under cold, windy conditions the Baltimore Ravens opened up the scoring on a 3yd scamper by Ray Rice to lead 7-0.

However, that would be one of the few times Raven fans had to celebrate as the visiting Bronco's shut down the tough Baltimore ground game, forced Joe Flacco to throw and struggle most of the evening.

Denver scored 21 points in the second quarter for the second week in a row as despite Peyton Hillis' three fumbles the Bronco's took a 31-14 victory on the timely arm of Matt Cassel.

The visitors seemed to be running away with the game as they opened the third quarter with the ball and a 14 point lead, but on the first play of the game Ray Lewis picked up the second Hillis' fumble and put the Ravens within a score.

Defenses both started to flex their muscle and neither side was able to do much until Flacco was picked off after being hit as he threw, deep in Raven territory. Elvis Dummerville reeled in the fluttering pass and set the Bronco's up for a 34 FG and a 10 point lead with under 4 minutes to go.

Baltimore couldn't get much going and turned the ball over for the final time as the Bronco's stole the road win and now face the shocking Giants for the Mega Bowl title.
