I hope you make it to the Championship sometime. Then we'd get to see a 'ship preview, game summary and probably one other extra. Nik is a lame champ.

What a disappointing game. I run commit right, he runs right and cuts it back all the way left for a TD run. I read the deep cross and the ball goes right through my hands to his wr for a TD. I (think) I'm in a cover 3 but I guess I picked cvr 2 and user the safety down on a shallow route and there's a wideout on a streak frolicking through the grass. Then back to back sack/tip fumble/int TD returns to blow it open. Ugh. I'll get you next time Nik.

    #4 Western Michigan 52
    @
    #24 Idaho 28

4:18 TD Idaho Cory Reid WR #11 77 Yd Pass from Jim Rice QB #17 (7-7)
1:17 TD Idaho Adam Craft HB #28 14 Yd Rush (14-7)

4:38 TD Western Michigan Adam Vaughn WR #88 48 Yd Pass from Adrian Pollock QB #9 (28-14)

1:33 TD Western Michigan Travis Ruffin HB #26 4 Yd Rush (38-28)
0:01 TD Western Michigan Andrew Garrett LOLB #57 30 Yard Fumble (45-28)
    4th Quarter:
6:56 TD Western Michigan Andrew Garrett LOLB #57 23 Yard Interception (52-28)

MVP: WMU QB Adrian Pollock 278.8 QB Rating 10/15 261 Yards 3 TDs 66% Comp % 26.1 YPC

The Turning Point: Hard to pinpoint one play that was a turning point in the game but with the 3rd quarter nearing a close and Idaho looking to cut the lead to 3 Jim Rice was hit and the ball fell to the turf when Andrew Garrett scooped it up and housed it from 30 yard's out to all but close out the game.

Key To The Game: Turnovers as always were huge. Western Michigan's 1 TO came in the final minute of the 1st half when Ruffin was stripped after a long catch and run at the Idaho 40. Western Michigan was looking to take a 35-21 halftime lead and receiving on the other end but ended up going in with a 28-28 tie. Jim Rice didn't have his best game as a fumble and a pick both resulted in 14 immediate points. He also had another late fumble that was recovered when the game was already decided. If Rice doesn't swing the game 14 points the other way and Idaho was able to capitalize on those drives we could be looking at a different outcome.

Looking Ahead: Missing out on a national championship shot after a undefeated season is tough but the consolation prize is the Sugar Bowl against #7 TCU.

I'm pretty sure if the situation calls for it. I don't see why not because run commit sucks IMO and you get burnt more with it than if you don't use it in my experiences.

Yeah I rarely do it but he was predictable and without it he was running for 5 yards a pop. I tried it, his rb stops and turns around and outraces everyone. That was the only time I used it. I hate it but I was desperate.

I thought all Run/Pass commits were banned. Didn't we already have a debate on this like season 2?

All are legal. They were illegal last year. If you want to run commit, be my guest.
