Me and Jer tried to get our "Game of the Week" in just a moment ago...but each attempt failed as the screen read "your opponent has left the match". This has only happend to me with Hulk as we havent been able to scrim for months now So idk what it is. Every other game has worked well with me. I cleared out my Game Data and my signal is solid. Im a type 2 in Network settings. Maybe Jers is different idk. Can someone help a brotha out. Thanks CHUNKNESS LtJustice Michael Overman Shaun Mason
I believe klaximilian and I had this problem once or twice....eventually it worked...after doing some on and off and resetting modems...before that worked...I remembered on last years title....you could "DELETE SAVED GAME DATA" and that usually worked...i also saw via search that was a fix for this years title as well perhaps that would work
Yes...im wireless at the moment. My landlord(gf's mom)lives upstairs...so i havent been able to hard wire it. Could that be the problem? And do you think resetting the modem would work?
Make sure no bluetooth headset device is currently on or able to connect to the PS3. That was the problem and prevents CFM games from being connected. Just makes sure it's turned off and if that was the problem, it will solve it. Good luck. tj cry_havoc Jeremy Shaun Mason
Im hard wired also and have no headsets or anything like that connected. Ive had a few connection issues recently but that was when I was using my work connection and it was an issue d/c 'ing once game started. I am now home and I too have never had this issue before.
Run a speed test from speedtest.net and check your DL speed also is it cable or DSL cause verizon DSL is a major headache right now as they are getting ready to roll out a new product in the spring and took all there networks local in NJ and NY and they share bandwidth in a hub. I would be at 3.5 to start a game and under 1 at the end. I had to finally get cable modem with a stronger signal anything under 2 per on a DL will almost always be laggy or dc frequently. If you don't have DSL ignore most of what I said lol this has gotten worse however in the last 6 months.
Happened to me and Doug in our first game. But he was on a hotel connection. Worked fine when he got home and we played. Next time I bet he stays at a Motel 6!
TROUBLESHOOTING... Did you guys try connecting outside of the CFM using the community setting? If not, see if you are able to connect there. If you can, then you know it's an issue related to the CFM. If you cannot, see if either of you are able to connect with another league member in the community setting that you have been able to connect with recently in the CFM. MODEM... Power down and reset. Make certain you are using a modem that can provide the best data transfer AND is compatible with your ISP (contact your provider). ROUTER... If you cannot hardwire to your mother in-law's connection (yeah I said it), see if you are able to open ports on the router or set your PS3 to the DMZ setting if you haven't done so already. What ports should I open to play Madden 25 online? (LINK) Open Nat, Static IP, Port Forward, DMZ - For PS3 and Xbox
Thanks a bunch Doug. I have actually used this site but its kind of hard to understand. Myself, Jim and Jeremy troubleshooted b4 as Jim signed onto both of our profiles. Weve come to terms that mine and Jeremys connection absolutley hate each other. What im goin to do domm morning is use my router and hope it works. Whats DMZ setting?
