    Cougar Report

BYU is facing one of it's ost difficult schedules in school history. Besides the conference games they have slated, add Oklahoma and Florida St. TCU and Utah will prove to be big tests for this Cougar team.

Heisman daaaaaark horse Max hall leads the way on offense. The hephew of former Dallas Cowboy and BYU great Danny White. He looks to O'Neill Chambers to step up and have a huge sophomore season.

Harvey Unga and the TE Pita are also very highly rated offensive weapons.

BYU will try multiple fronts to get pressure on the QB this season. If they find something that works, they will run with it. The defense will have to be serviceable if BYU wants to make it back to national prominence.

Can the Cougars bring back the glory days of Ty Detmer, Steve Young, Jim McMahon? That will rest on the arm of Max Hall. Will he join this Mt. Rushmore or will he not be worthy of mention in the same breath as these guys?

    Another one bites the dust!

Pitta and Hall tame the Rebels.

BYU has made little progress on the recruiting trail but have some very highly touted prospects with the Cougs on the top of their list. Hopefully the team turn around will spark interest on the recruiting trail.

I thought he was talking about the other type of cougars too. I forgot he was BYU. :D

    Bach to topic:

How close are you to being a perennial powerhouse? Can BYU step up and be next year's TCU?
