    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for people to sign up to be course testers. What we need to do is play each course on each of the four pin placements with tournament speed greens. The goal? Make sure that no one pin placement setting has a pin position that is right on the side of a hill, like literally RIGHT on the side of a 4 foot hill. People should not have their rounds thrown away because of a gimmicky pin.

The first step is to get a group together. I will set up a reporting thread once we have the volunteers together, and you can play your rounds offline or on, making note of which holes at which courses, and on which pin placements, are unfair in your eyes. Then Noles and I will look into them and make final decisions (we will also be helping as testers as well).

So, if you think you might be able to spare some time for a couple of course testing rounds a week (or more), please post your intentions! This will help get you some practice as well.

Since this is both offline and online ready, PS3 guys are allowed/encouraged to help out!

Thanks in advance to anyone/everyone that can help out.

If I'd have been keeping more than a mental log the past 2 weeks, I'd have a complete course by course portfolio for you by now......

I've never had any problems with pins other then expert... Of the top of my head Costa Navarino has a bunch,St Andrews has 3 or 4 on a downhill,or right on the edge...

Also keep in mind that for every setting they have 3 different location

Costa has a couple pin settings that are just sick -- if you don't put it in a bout a 1 foot circle, there is almost no way you won't 47 putt the green.....nasty, trying to remember which hole on the front I max putted on, I was pretty much laughing hysterically by the 4th putt.....

To get this going - I don't have a whole hellofa lot of time at the moment to get the foundation laid for this - please post in here the course you play and the pins. Make sure you use tournament speed. Please concentrate on the upcoming courses first, and start on the Expert pins if possible. One of these days I'll organize it all.

Many thanks to any/all of our volunteers.

I'm well aware that there are different pin placements for every difficulty. I played 4 rounds on all 4 difficulties and simply wanted to let Basis know I did not see a problem. If I play it again on expert and there is a problem I'll let BASIS or KNIGHTNOLES know about it. Thanks for asking a question on an issue that the commish already liked and understood what I was saying. We all enjoy your smarkish ribbing and pointless questions. Keep it up!

I played Dubai, not sure if that is on the docket for the season, and the Expert Pins can go F themselves.

A wonderful course. Just the expert pins are out of this world. I played with my jacked up golfer and had 3 triples and 2 doubles. Not to mention 2 tap ins that didnt go it.

    Sawgrass expert pins look ok...

There are couple of pins located on slight ridges #4 front ,# 13left front, but the greens hold, and I was able to lag within 2-5 feet
