    BROOKING, COWBOYS ALL SMILES

After a tough loss last year to the Eagles in December, Dallas came into this game looking to take care of business. With the Eagles (5-2) and Dallas (4-3), the Cowboys considered this a must win.

The first half was mostly defense. Dallas striked first with a Nick Folk FG to go up 3-0. The Eagles love the outside run and the Cowboys were able to shut it down, but committing to the run leaves the passing game open. The Eagles took advantage of it by McNabb/Maclin hook up from 12 yards out. Scoring that touchdown and a David Akers 28yd FG put the Philly boy up 10-3 with less than a minute left. Tony Romo had to take his team on his back and put up points before half. And he did just that by setting up another Nick Folk FG to go into the 2nd half down 10-6.

The 2nd half was all Cowboys, the Dallas defense played great and the offense made the most of their opportunities. With Barber still out the Boys have to rely on the Jones/Choice duo and it worked today. Romo added two TD's in the 2nd half plus a Jvorski Lane rushing TD put the Cowboys ahead 31-10 to end the game. The defense played shut out football in the 2nd and need to continue to do so in the next three must win games (GB,WASH,OAK) before they face the (8-1) Giants.

This NFC East could be very interesting to watch unfold through out the year.
