I know, you're looking at the box score and wondering what this headline is talking about when the Rams scored 9pts. But a closer analysis reveals that the Dallas DEF did pitch a shutout, keeping the Rams' offense out of the endzone and limiting them to 3 FGs. The most impressive of those stops came after a long Z. Stacy run gave St. Louis a 1st and goal early in the 1st qtr. 3 plays later the Rams had to settle for 3, their first FG of the game.
    T. Romo continued his efficient game play, not committing a turnover and, once again, the coaches showed patience in sticking with a running game that early on seemed to be sputtering but was effective enough to keep the chains moving.
The play of the game came in the 4th qtr. With the Rams looking to get back into things on the arm of S. Bradford, dime back S. Moore read a downfield pass perfectly, stepped in front of the WR and returned the INT 39yds for the pick 6. O. Scandrick would intercept Bradford again in the 4th, sealing the win for Dallas.
The Rams did find success on the ground with Z. Stacy piling up over 100yds. They get a bye week to continue to iron out the kinks in their game while Dallas returns home to host the visiting Saints.
