Tony Romo is under constant criticism. Not clutch. Can't win the important games. Bound to lose the game with a mis-timed INT. He's heard it all and yet, he never seems phased by the comments. Take his week 4 matchup vs the Chargers. With San Diego apparently hell-bent on limiting Dallas' passing opportunities, playing with 5 DBs for most of the game, Romo did what you're supposed to do in those situations: check out of the play, take what the defense gives you and attack the matchups that are in your favor. The result: a stellar QB rating of 156.3, 295yds and 2 TDs. And ZERO turnovers. Zilch. Nada. For the 2nd consecutive game, Romo wasn't sacked. Barely touched in this one.

With the Chargers begging Dallas to run, they did. 31 attempts, a season high. 4 rushing TDs, another season high. But, it proved costly as DeMarco Murray suffered his 2nd injury of the young season in his 1st game back from his previous injury. This one appears to be more serious and further tests will be needed to determine how much time he will miss. Fortunately for Dallas, they have a capable replacement on the roster in the form of Lance Dunbar, who scored 2 of the 4 TDs.

The Chargers would try to keep things close. But it isn't easy to overcome a deficit with a rookie QB at the helm. Brad Sorensen would end up with 4 INTs in this game, 3 of them coming in the 2nd half. He was able to connect with on some clutch plays with WRs V. Brown and E. Royal. Overall he did a good job spreading the ball around but in the end, the Dallas defense was too much for him to handle.

Dallas now prepares to handle a formidable opponent of their own as they host the currently undefeated Denver Broncos in week 5...
