Early on it seemed like this game was just going to end up being another wasted effort for the Cowboys. On their first play from scrimmage, QB D. Harvin, who has been serving up INTs at a rate similar to how IHOP serves pancakes, was intercepted by CB K.C. Walden. But, the 28th ranked Dallas defense wouldn't budge, holding Washington to a FG and an early 3-0 lead. On the next Cowboy drive, WR T. Williams would cough up the ball, quickly recovered by OLB R. Kerrigan. Once again, the defense stepped up and held the Redskins to 3pts and a 6-0 lead. Dallas finally got on the board with an 11yd D. Roach TD run to make it 7-6 Dallas heading into the 2nd.
Both teams would enjoy scoring drives in the 2nd qtr. The difference being that Dallas' drives resulted in TDs while Washington, once again, had to settle for a FG. And down 21-16, QB J. Manziel would try to go up top only to be picked off by CB M. Claiborne.
Claiborne would come up with another big INT in the 4th as the Redskins tried to close the gap. With the 35-26 win, Dallas improves to 3-4 while Washington drops to 2-5.
The Redskins get a bye week to recuperate in week 8 while Dallas goes on the road to face another division rival, the Eagles.
    GG bro...
