After a disappointing week 1 loss, Dallas now had to saddle up and go on the road, to one of the most hostile environments in the league: Arrowhead Stadium to face the Chiefs.

With a new look offense in KC, the Cowboys really didn't know what to expect. Except that history has taught them that Coach/Owner/GM Troy always has a solid passing offense. This game started on that note with QB A. Smith seemingly in a groove completing 9 of his first 10 passes. But his 2nd incompletion would be costly, as CB B. Carr intercepted the pass intended for WR D. Bowe in the endzone. And from that point on the Dallas defense would control the game. Smith would finish 12 of 29 for 159yds and a TD while throwing 4 picks. RB J. Charles was the weapon of choice as he piled up 191yds on the ground and 1 TD.

For Dallas, the story was the defense: S. Lee and A. Spencer both recorded sacks, with Lee practically living in the KC backfield. While the DBs contributed with 4 INTs and numerous hits late in the game to stall whatever comeback the Chiefs had in mind.

Dallas now returns home and will prepare to face the St. Louis Rams in AT&T Stadium...
