    Chicago trades:
SG Courtney Lee, 72 OVR, 28 years old, 3 years, $16 million, B- potential
C Tyler Zeller, 70 OVR, 24 years old, 2 years, $4 million (team options both years), C+ potential
    2014 2nd round pick

    Minnesota
SG Brandon Roy, 80 OVR, 29 years old, 1 year, $5.3 million, no potential
C Greg Stiemsma, 63 OVR, 28 years old, 1 year $1.3 million, potential unknown

Minnesota is not going to have the cap room next year to resign Roy in all likelihood (by my calculations they will have approximately $4-5 million in cap space unless they don't take the team options on Rubio or Derrick Williams), so this deal gives them a good SG option locked in for 2 years (so the CPU doesn't do something stupid in FA) and a young C to play next to Kevin Love who should progress pretty well.

If necessary I'll bump the pick to my first round pick this year or I can include other pieces if that would help.

Hmm I remember a certain someone saying they'd never approve a deal where the CPU takes on more money. :p

For what it's worth, Minnesota has about $4-5 million in cap room next year (if they don't give out any crazy extensions before then) and doesn't have Bird rights on Roy, so unless he takes less than he's making now it's likely they lose him for nothing in the offseason. This trade would give them two good role players on reasonable deals that they will have for 2 seasons. They would come off the books around the time Love's deal would. If not for that I wouldn't even consider offering this deal.

I will totally understand and respect if the other TC members tell me to GTFO.:D
