NEBRASKA (AP)- Craig Mack played CF like Ken Griffey Jr in his prime as he picked off Oregon State QB Ross Blount 3 times in a 34-7 win. Mack was part of a defense that made life difficult for the Beavers offense, particularly Ross Blount. Blount completed only 17 of 40 passes for 212yds and was picked off 6 times as Oregon State never could get in going. Blount was sacked 6 times, 4 by SR-RE Marvin Bowers. Offensively, it was the Maurice Bryant show as he rushed for 140yds and a TD while catching a 33yd pass from QB Jeff Lindsey for another score. Bryant will be key for this Husker offense with his rushing. He's showed so far to be the right choice to start for Nebraska.
