"WE CAN DO BETTER" Heading into Week 3 CSKA's talisman , Keisuke Honda had this to say about the teams recent performances that have had many pundits putting CSKA up as early favorites for promotion, "We've been playing well, but as a group we believe we can do better. You know, in our four matches we've scored a lot of goals, but we haven't played with the sort of flair we know we are capable of. We also have to look at the defensive side of the ball and see that we haven't kept a clean sheet yet." This week CSKA has two matches against two teams in the bottom half of the table. Since it's still early doors into the new season CSKA's players are taking nothing for granted. Vagner Love, the leagues' leading goalscorer, spoke about the upcoming matches, " The upcoming matches are critical, we are playing two teams in desperate need of points and with the season being so young we cannot afford to slip up. Football is a game that rewards those that take their chances when they come. The amount of possession or shots we get mean nothing if we don't win." Expect a Moscow team this week that is as hungry as it's ever been. The Galaxy's dropped points against Wolfsburg present CSKA with an opportunity to begin to pull away, so we can expect this week to have a lot of say in what we can expect in the title race. Will it be a one horse race? Check back next week to find out.
