Just like Redd I don't care either way. I just want people to make sure they have a "style" with their PB. This is my only league so i dont care now. My worry before with it was being allowed to use it here but not in another league-- i.e having two learn two playbooks.

As stated.. dont care either way so not voting.

Yeah, there needs to be a style. Teams don't need to have both the abilities of a power run team and a 5 wide air raid offense

seeings how this looks like its going to pass with flying fuckin colors- whats everyones plab for their books?

I'm going with a one back approach with some two te sets out if ace, with a little pistol for running my QB if i have a capable one. and of course some nice shotgun sets for throwin the pigskin!

I voted against it because I don't like change mid dynasty, but im cool either way. Would this be effective immediately or for next season? And in custom, you have to put each formation you have under the play books post correct?

I would like this to have to wait to go into effect as well. I'm not sure what fuzzys plan was for posting pb's though.

I do agree with having your custom playbook have style. So how would it work explaining what you have? I propose we tell up the base playbook we are using and explain a little bit about it. Example: Base: Clemson; A spread option attack that utilizes some I-Form and Ace. That is a pretty vague example but you get the gist.

Air Force's playbook has shotgun, ace, i-forn, maryland I, and FleXbox One. Cheesier than any combo any of you could come up with.

I voted for, if it has a certain play call style to it I see no problem

It wouldn't go into effect until next season, would that change your vote to yes?

Air Force's pb is definitely a good counter-argument to sticking with a certain style. In that case, they sample a little from a lot. I wouldn't like to see 80-85% of your plays be air raid, with wishbone/triple option the other 15-20%. Keep it balanced (if you're not sticking with ONE style) and mix it up, just like your play-calling.

Long as it doesn't mess up the dynasty ( I'm not sure what the actual problems were with customs before bc I really didn't play much NCAA besides offline ). That's really the only thing I'm worried about is all the transfer failed errors and all of that. Long as it doesn't effect the dynasty that way, it's not a big deal to me and it looks like the majority wants the change.

I don't think it caused a transfer fail error, but in a lot of cases, when calling an audible to certain plays, it causes the games to freeze.

Custom PB's are ok, as long as they aren't over the top, and have a good balance to them.

Looks like we are going to try out the custom PB experiment next season. If we can't keep it sim, they'll have to go.
