Thinking about putting the TMFL on Daddy Leagues this cycle for the extra functionality and stat visability. Is there any way to embed the page into our forum? Or would I just supply the link to our members to click through to view DL content?

    Here is an example league:

Yea, I can figure something out. When you sign up, let me know and I'll work on it.

Does the Daddy league format have auto advances? Like I set the schedule for advances and the file advanced itself?

No, you would need to schedule the advances via the console and advance/update DL manually with each weekly advance via the console. DL just pulls the data from the EA CFM website specific to your league. DL does not have the capability to conrol advances at this time which you are able to perform from the CFM website for your league.

Have I been missing something? I can schedule advances, in advance via console?

My bad, I was thinking of the "sim to" feature that was added.

So is the only advantage of DL the FA interfaces? Maybe stats? I thought that was on the CFM site, though.

DaddyLeagues provides more comprehensive stats for every team and player; something that isn't attainable through the EA hosted CFM website. Not only does DL provide the stats, but it also provides progression, XP, transaction history, and other data that isn't available unless directly accessing the CFM. To have the ability to manipulate those stats alone is enough, but it also allows us to perform basic roster functions such as signings and trading, create a league front page which can tap into forum and blog activity (we don't use), and DL also provides another resourceful community for recruiting new members. Some of our league members have indicated it is a relief to be able to access their team info and league data which they weren't always capable of doing through the EA hosted CFM website. All-in-all, it is basically the CFM website on steroids and MUCH faster in terms of page speed.

Got ya. We really wanted to push the CFM website stuff this year to the online devs. Wasn't in the scope of a short cycle with all the other stuff they had going on.

I'm hoping it will be a focus next year.

No worries. I believe that I speak for the majority when I say that I actually prefer that their concentration was on the game improvements.
While we prefer to keep INT numbers as realistic as possible, we also want INT settings to be challenging enough such that the passing yards don't skyrocket to unrealistic heights, punishing forced throws that should otherwise be tucked or thrown away. We all understand that user error is going to be prevalent in a league setting, particularly when it comes to hte passing game. Trust me, the number of dropped INT's was as equivalent as the number of INT's recorded, if not more. ;)

    I would do it..

The CFM site is so slow, and it just seems DL is a more viable option for stats, roster management etc.
