When your QB throws for over 350yds, 4TDs and you commit 1 turnover, you expect to win. But the defense didn't hold up in week 1 vs the Packers despite Romo's monster game, which garnered OPOW honors for week 1. Week 2 resulted in a different defense and a different outcome. The Cowboys D held RGIII and the Redskins to 222yds of total offense, sacked the QB 8 times and picked him off twice. Those sack totals could've been higher as the Washington hogs played more like piglets, not giving their QB the kind of support he needed to mount a comeback. Washington finally cracked the scoreboard late in the 3rd on a 27yd TD pass to TE A. Hotchkiss.

On offense, Romo played it close to the vest and allowed his running game to carry the team. Dallas had 174yds on the ground and 2 scores. No aerial displays were needed in this one.
